I found it was a very good wheel all in all and I’d be more than happy to send it your way for free if you’re interested as it’s doing sod all sat in the loft currently
That would be great, mate!
I’ll find it out later on today (the loft is, safe to say a bit of a mess
) and turn it on to make sure it at least powers up so I’ll drop you a message for your address later on hopefully! As Ad said, it should be a very good starter wheel, from my use the wheel it’s self was great but the pedals were lacking, but when I paid about £80 ish for it I didn’t think the pedals would be anything amazing as you can spend circa £300 just on pedals these days.
Edit, managed to find it and at least load it up on on a laptop still running Windows 7, wheel started up fine and calibrated itself as per normal and could definitely feel the resistance when trying to turn it, I couldn’t check the pedals as don’t have any racing titles (or even Steam) installed on this laptop but presume they’ll be fine. Only thing being sat in the loft, subsequently getting very hot at times is some of the plastic grips on the wheel have that tacky residue on them so will try and get that sorted when I get chance later on today.
