I dunno, GT6 launched with basically same microtransactions, a 20m wallet cap, the same car pricing for most of the lineup and the same rate of earnings, but to much less uproar. Then they increased the cap to 100m, added new events, increased the rewards and added time limited events with huge payouts. The differences from that are primarily that you can’t yet sell your cars in GT7 and the Legends dealership, where some extremely rare high value cars are no longer able to be bought for new (and therefore the price they were when new) and instead are bought second-hand (and therefore the current value). Maybe the selling of cars needed a bit more time to work out, but everyone’s primary gripe at car and DLC pricing is down to the high prices at the Legends dealership, and that’s not a “launched too early” issue at all.
