Seems like they’re listening to some of the criticism though.

“ Updates which will come into effect beginning of April:

Increase rewards in the events in the latter half of the World Circuits by approximately 100% on average.
Addition of high rewards for clearing the Circuit Experience in all Gold/All Bronze results.
Increase of rewards in Online Races.
Include a total of eight new one-hour Endurance Race events to Missions. These will also have higher reward settings.
Increase the upper limit of non-paid credits in player wallets from 20M Cr. to 100M Cr.
Increase the quantity of Used and Legend cars on offer at any given time.
Beyond this there will be a few additional patches deployed between now and the end of April which will add new cars and tracks and make some other fixes. “

Says users affected by the outage will get 1 million credits too.

Also adding the ability to sell your cars soon, more world circuit events, credits for online Time Trials.

It all sounds good

Good stuff - I'm not touching this again until that hits then as I want more reward for the amount of time I'm putting in on the licenses etc.

Yeah I think I’ll give it a break till early April if that’s when some of this is going to start being released. It’s disappointing that without the outrage at it, Polyphony would have just continued as before but it’s good they’re making changes.

Gives the feeling that this wasn't really ready to be launched for a few more months.

I dunno, GT6 launched with basically same microtransactions, a 20m wallet cap, the same car pricing for most of the lineup and the same rate of earnings, but to much less uproar. Then they increased the cap to 100m, added new events, increased the rewards and added time limited events with huge payouts. The differences from that are primarily that you can’t yet sell your cars in GT7 and the Legends dealership, where some extremely rare high value cars are no longer able to be bought for new (and therefore the price they were when new) and instead are bought second-hand (and therefore the current value). Maybe the selling of cars needed a bit more time to work out, but everyone’s primary gripe at car and DLC pricing is down to the high prices at the Legends dealership, and that’s not a “launched too early” issue at all.

I did the first test and I was only 0.3 off from your time. :toot:

Half a million on the Daily Workout today :datass:

I’m working my way through the rest of the licenses and missions. Even some of the low level missions that look simple end up being bastard hard.

I haven’t got anything more than 20,000 for the daily workouts :|

Also strawberry float this AI, you can overtake cars in the challenges but if they drive into you it’s a retry. All because they are on a strawberry floating track! That is bollox!

I'm enjoying Sports Online this week and I love racing in Go Kart. It's where all of us have the same Go Kart car, but it depends on our skills and speed to win the race. :datass:

I really need to get back on this, should have put some time into it over the weekend but instead just did about half of one of the seasons on offer on ACC instead (which is becoming really addictive in a way!). I sadly don’t see this having the same longevity for myself that I’ve gotten from other racing games, I’ll go back to it and finish the main campaign off at some point as it is enjoyable, have we got any news when the updated rewards might be rolled out in an update yet?

Had my first session on this in what feels like weeks this evening, so decided to press on with the S licences. Got golds up to the last 3 now (I haven't tried them yet). They've all been a decent challenge so far, although nothing daft. Some like Monza you can beat by 3 seconds, others are down to 0.5 at most.

The final S license test :dread: I take it you're supposed to see the wet areas of the track, but the graphics are so poor in contrast that you have to just guess for most of the lap. I've got the lap down fine until the back straight, and then it's just a lottery if the back will just kick out and spear you in to a barrier with no warning, even when you take the same line each time. I'm currently 1.5 off gold :x
