I invited you by mistake too, I was trying to invite Rog who'd suddenly vanished. I got some in game calls from you but I couldn't work out what they actually did, I think it's supposed to be voice chat or something

Destroyed Rog with my serve anyway 8-) (and hitting the ball into the right corner which must be bugged or something because neither of us could return it from there).

Tennis is really boring

Trainer in action right here.

I made a pretty rad little point-to-point hillclimb, feel free to give it a go.

I'm going to try and do more off-road/rally courses, motorstorm-like races and maybe some street circuits too. It's nice having 100 props now, lets you be a bit more creative.

Also if anyone else is having random crash errors, try setting DirectX to 10.1 - that seems to have stopped it for me with no loss in visual quality. This seems to be one of the few games where fxaa doesn't look like utter gooseberry fool.

What is annoying me about this game is it keeps setting my resolution to 800X600 whenever I launch the game. Have to change it to something good every single time.

Occasionally mine starts windowed, alt+enter sorts it, but annoying.

Really due a couple of upgrades but on my old Phenom II X4 940, 8gb RAM and a more recent R9 280 I'm getting low 20 fps on 1080p at worst.

The opening tutorial mission was great, getting a solid 60fps for the most part, but once out in San Andreas itself it drops.
Needing to tweak some settings but I'm beginning to think that most of my problems these days are with the CPU, which is my next upgrade once I've got the cash to spare. Probably be later in the year.

Either way it still looks great and it's still definitely playable. Just need to wait and see what performance tweaks and advice appear in the coming weeks.

Definitely CPU. I have an AMD 8350, 8gb memory and a 7870 so your GPU is better but processor is lacking.

Never slips below 30 so far.

They've got this working on an Oculus already. Once they patch in a better FOV slider the dream will be complete.

Is there a way to get a feature request to R*?

I imagine if you get enough people (ie, reddit) to send one in for FOV then it might gain some traction.

Glorious 60fps. Would be nice to have high texture quality though.

The online seems very very buggy and suffers from connection issues. Still pretty fun though, shame we have to be level 12 to start heists.

GTA 5 benchmarked on pretty much every graphics card that matters, except 970's (?)

http://www.overclock3d.net/reviews/gpu_ ... e_review/1

This one, whilst not a very wide test, does point to something interesting about the in game memory usage readout being about 1GB under what it is actually using.

Are you saying you wish you could run high texture quality? because the textures look strawberry floating good in this game.
