The online seems very very buggy and suffers from connection issues. Still pretty fun though, shame we have to be level 12 to start heists.

Are you saying you wish you could run high texture quality? because the textures look strawberry floating good in this game.

Yes

Bit off topic but I hate how auto correct won't acknowledge swear words when you use the swiping text. Covert censorship.

I can't believe I've bought this a third time.

This download, though. :dread:

Started playing this today and it looks awesome and runs smooth for the most part but it can start stuttering at certain points and I'm not sure what's causing it as it can even stutter on the menus or when nothing is happening. I meet all the system requirements and am using the settings recommended by GeForce Experience. Checking performance in task manager didn't show up any anomalies so I guess I'll try turning down all the graphical settings and see what happens. When it starts to stutter, it really kills my enjoyment. Strange as well that when it stuttered in the benchmark, it was still showing 50-60fps.

turn vsync off

Yeah that was one of the first things I tried. I have adaptive vsync on in the Nvidia control panel though if that would be causing the same issue? Normally I wack adaptive vsync on for every game.

when I had adaptive on I got screen tearing, so I just have it set to v-sync set to On in the control panel and off in game. Seems to get far less drops etc.

Weird bug update

Got a new one with an obscure solution, I couldn't use weapons in cars (as driver or passenger) couldn't even aim to stick my finger up, this had been carrying on even if the game was closed and reopened. Managed to fix it by entering a GTA race (the type with weapons) the moment I got to the first checkpoint (which enables weapons in those races) I could shoot fine again, carried over to freeroam.

The other major one has been the camera hanging on a frozen shot of your character's face at the start of a mission, that one seems to be fixed by tabbing out and back in

I see that the "Police cars literally spawning out of nowhere" bug feature is still in the game.

Every game needs a wanking clown that makes things explode by hitting them.

I kinda dont know why i bothered with this to be honest. Graphics are nice tho, i guess.

You dont like Michael? he seems ok and he an Franklin have a good vibe going till the banana split Trevor shows up. I advise 'trying' to play GTA online, I havent touched the main game in months I just potter about online doing missions and killing real folk.

My feelings towards this are similar. Clearly, I just don't like GTA games (actually, not quite true, used to love playing the first on our work network at lunch :datass: ). I agree about the A-B comment, some of the flying missions are strawberry floating painful, especially when you crash or something and then have to do it again (and some of them seem to have quite a bit of flying before you actually get to the point before you can do anything).

Also, completing a mission and then finding yourself without a car? What fun getting back to a road so you can hijack one.

Not sure if most people don't like Trevor, but I actually quite like him. He is a bit of a psycho, but some of the things he says are quite intelligent and he is very funny (at least to me).

I'm almost about 60% through this and will be playing to completion, regardless of the fact that I'm not enjoying it so much.

I love Trevor, because he is the personification of how I generally play GTA games.
