We should just say they have to make a GTA: London to get it again.

My understanding was that DLC was planned, but GTA Online became an infinite money machine so they concentrated on that instead.

Yep that is exactly what happened they put all their effort and planned DLC content into the online side of things because of the money they are raking in off it.

I've been trying to do some GTA Online as I got free stuff via Twitch Prime. It drops me out of the session or freezes after every mission.

Thanks to epic games I installed this on my pc and started a new game yesterday. I've not played the game since the ps3 version launched, and I'd forgotten just how good it is. It looks a little dated now, but it's still packed with details. I never finished the story either, so I'd like to do that this time.

Picked this up for the first time the other day. Invested in a hanger and quite enjoyed the missions it provides. I always loved causing a bit of carnage from the air, so this could possibly suck me back in for a while. Anyone have any recommendations for best weaponised plane to buy that can be modified in the hanger?

Aww yiss, can't wait for the story to be a bunch of 80s movie tropes stitched together and all of the women to be massive stereotypes again.

Please god I hope they get someone to write the story who doesn't just have a massive boner for old films.

Anyone still playing this online? I've recently got back into it in quite a big way. Having not played for a couple of years, but having been a heavy player prior to that, I've got a bit of catching up to do, but am well set up to achieve my goals. I must have made at least $20m in the last month and have invested heavily into the businesses, which now easily make me a million dollars each day. Now I'm saving for the Mark 2 Oppressor, but I hate trying to save up that much money for a purchase!

First stop, Terrorbyte. I'm at 1.5 million at the mo, so a quick nightclub sell mission and I can buy that with space for the Oppressor. The Nightclub is by far my favourite business. It's lovely working from home being able to let the game idle all day making me dollar. On top of that, the Speedo Custom as a sell vehicle is a dream! :D

Wait seriously? Has any other game been remastered onto a third console generation before?

Will there be a free upgrade, a minor fee, or are they going to take the piss and say you’ve got to buy the whole thing again?

After getting used to Xbox one x enhanced patches being free I'd be very annoyed if they expected me to pay to buy it again. I don't mind paying for some new content if it's good dlc but I want a free patch or I'll stick playing the current gen version.. I can't believe we've gone a whole console generation in which time they've released one new game. And for next gen they're re-re-releasing a game from now 2 gens ago. Absolute joke. Remember on PS2 where we got 3 GTA games plus Bully.. even last gen they managed GTA4, gta5, bully remastered and red dead..

An update to Red Dead Redemption II is also inevitable.

There wasn't any kind of upgrade or minor fee to upgrade from the PS3 version to the PS4 version. I'd be amazed if there was for this.

It's true but that was a whole new release and there was no backwards compatibility then. Xbox One version will definitely run on the Series X this time.. the PS4 version will assumedly run on PS5 so makes it harder to justify buying again unless it's some pretty significant upgrades and new content. But more so when they could just patch it for a graphics update and sell the new content as dlc at a reasonable price.

I'm surprised that Bethesda didn't jump in to announce Skyrim super remastered edition to be honest. Surely it's only a matter of time.

If it comes with some meaty single player dlc I’ll at least think about it.
