And it should be a good one. Good variety of cars, hopefully some good missions, and a reputation system that rewards you just for doing anything from the new content.

I just hope it's going to have cooled off enough after this weekend heatwave, otherwise I'm barely going to be able to spend much time with it.

Can’t be any worse than the horrid Fast & Furious game they released on PS4, and which can now be found in bargain bins everywhere.

Ive been toying with the idea of reinstalling GTA for a while now, the recent updates did nothing for me, didnt even finish the caio perico heist once, and to be fair the idea of using my PS5 to play a game which I have put in already hundreds of hours over two generations of consoles already seems like such a waste of time, but I miss roaming around in Los Santos in a car. Maybe if this update is focused on actual cars it would peak my nterest again.

Wasnt there supposed to be a next gen upgrade? or did I imagine that?

You mean the expanded and enhanced edition that we still know barely anything about and haven't seen despite already having a release date set for November?

There is a next gen update due but they have not shared any details or new footage of the upgrade on PS5-Xbox.

I kinda struggle to believe that there is gonna be another release for GTA V.

And I will probably buy it if I get a PS5  :fp: .

A saw a story the other day that Rockstar have begun pulling PC mods for the likes of Vice City, San Andreas and IV. Seeing as they used to be okay about it, I wonder if that is an indicator they're about to be revisited in some fashion.

Probably, I believe if they let the mods stand for a certain amount of time then they lose rights to the games they are based off of so it could also just be preservation.

I highly doubt I'll be getting this but if I do, it will be to finally finish the campaign because the online is awful.

I would quite like to see the earlier games remade with GTA V-styled graphics and controls. For me, the missions have never been that good (too frustrating!) but the general driving feel, atmosphere and the exploration are top notch.

I'm still saying the remakes are a high possibility. Why bother buying out Ruffian Games when they already accepted a contract and had been working on projects for around a year before being bought out?

I wouldn't be surprised if all Rockstar studios are churning out stuff for GTA Online because that's the money maker...

Im with you on this in general, but I would love a revamped GTA trilogy remake. I recently purchased the ps2 trilogy, and jesus christ the games with those controls are unplayable.

Of course, give me GTA VI over all those!

Played today, I couldn't put up with the difficulty spikes and incessant backtracking/weapon purchasing when you die either.

Never did see Las Vegas in San Andreas.

It amazes me how they are still making money off shark cards, if you get grinding the online mode it is pretty easy to make money in the game. There is the small matter of griefers destroying your cargo every now and then..... plenty of guides going around too to show you the ropes too
