Never did see Las Vegas in San Andreas.

I was quite amazed at how I managed to put so many hours into all of those games. San Andreas was one of the games I put in most hours on the ps2

It amazes me how they are still making money off shark cards, if you get grinding the online mode it is pretty easy to make money in the game. There is the small matter of griefers destroying your cargo every now and then..... plenty of guides going around too to show you the ropes too

Why bother dealing with even the threat of chaos in a public lobby when you can just stay in an invite only lobby and churn out Cayo Perico heists for more than a million in around two hours? And even then, it really isn't hard to make money. It never was. But, I guess people want to fast-track to the cars and never have to deal with any of the missions.

The problem with grinding to make money in game is its boring, takes ages and isn't fun in the slightest

If you just play the online to have fun you'll be perpetually broke and forever locked out of all the new and probably fun new vehicles and weapons - which is probably why people end up just buying them with real money (at massively inflated prices)

Ill be honest the thrill of delivering a cargo with your friend in a pblic lobby with mkIIs and jet fighters flying over your head is too good. Doing cargo sales solo becomes boring early but is sometimes needed.

The Cayo Perico heist I was never bothered to complete once. I got stuck in one of the very first missions and waved goodbye to gta:o

But like you said, you only need a week of solid grinding to enjoy any new dlcs, and if you can wait the thursday discounts you can always save a lot on any vehicle

It depends, if you are doing it solo it becomes a chore (but then again i feel like grinding online games always becomes a chore at a certain point) if you have a friend who you can grind it out with, it becomes more enjoyable, and while waiting for business to make money you do eachothers missions so you are more efficient with your time.

I used to grind the businesses in between runs of weekend league on fifa, so that was my way to relax, put on a stream and just chill out and defuse the rage

I guess it depends on how you're having that fun. Near everything in the game earns you money, and after two hours of play it's more than likely you've earnt at least 100,000 from various missions, races, or freeroam events (if in a public lobby or an invite only with a few friends). After around ten days of play (not all at once, of course), a player would easily be over a million. At that point, I guess most would go for a shark card to boost their numbers in order to get access to the higher-priced stuff.

I do agree that grinding can suck all the fun out of a game, which is exactly why I don't do it all the time. I don't consider the Cayo Perico heist grinding, since I'm not one of the fools doing speedrun strats to complete it in under an hour to repeat it ad-nauseum. Just once a month (if that) as a cash injection. But what I do have is a spreadsheet and a plan. Which depends on whether certain solo-able things are on double or triple rewards in order to prioritise them. Everyone has a different focus when it comes to the game, which is a-okay.

This was never my experience at all! After two hours of play I'd maybe have earned a few thousand dollars or potentially just broke even after buying back ammunition. I just want to roam around the sandbox doing hijinks. Sometimes that means robbing a store, or hunting a player bounty, or capturing a car for export. I always hated trying to do missions or deathmatches or races because they just weren't worth the loading screens and waiting time for something much better versions of exist in different games altogether.

Oh, yes. Survive the Hunt is an absolute great series to be watching from the start. Then again, all the stuff on the channel is great. Plenty of racing content to view and even try yourself. Even got a collab episode of Survive the Hunt with Hat Films, which was fantastic for someone who's a fan of both.

Ah, the olden days of Online, where those were the only things to do in freeroam. It's got better with the various freeroam events and business battles that appear which encourage a bit of healthy competition between players. I do agree with the loading times being long when in public sessions, but they're reduced greatly in invite only lobbies - which does mean no-one to play with.

Always look forward to the first day of each month when a new 'Survive the Hunt' episode gets uploaded. I like that over the past handful of episodes they've changed up the formula and have recently been utilising areas outside of the main city.

There are also videos uploaded shortly afterwards which focus on the hunters' perspectives, so it's worth keeping an eye out for those.

In My case I was lucky I had a friend who had already grinded the online mode more than me and we did heists together, sometimes giving me a large percentage of the final cut, then on to MC businesses nightclub etc... once in you're in a certain position you dont really need to keep grindig businesses, the nightlub generates money on its own while you do freeroam events etc..

I understand how a lot of people see the businesses and selling as some kind of chore (heists are way more fun for sure) but for me especially in the first days it was a lot of fun as they were essentially new things to do in the game.

This update seems great.

New missions that are each pretty much half a heist, a new business offering legitimate income, and a ton of new clothing items and music.

Too bad I can't play it in this furnace of a house without turning it into an active volcano.

Apparently they are planning 3 remasters

Wonder if they are remasters or actual remakes

Would definitley love to play vc or sa with proper controls, but i fear they will just make remasters of gta 4 and red dead 1 (which I would also love to see, but are less deserving of a new version imo)

Edit: just read that its not only limited to r* games so it will probably be none of the above :shifty:
