Giving my first one ago, I've gone slightly OTT on the small review I won't go as nuts on later ones, it would be cool if everyone can do a little something for the beers as they have them as it will allow others to get some idea of what the drink is like and maybe can go out and get it if they like the sound of it.
Time and Tide: EchoFirst smell, this beer smells awesome, it has a really sharp citrus sour aroma that for me just makes my mouth water, it is the sort of smell I love when I get a Saison, I'm a big fan of sour and so Saisons on the sour than herbal end of the spectrum always work for me.
Taste wise it not what I expected from the smell, from the smell I was expecting a lemon citrus blast following by a herbal and slightly peppery character that comes with Saisons, this is not that, it is barely sour at all which is strange when it smells of lemons and very acidic.
It has a sort of cider character, it has that flavour you get in that 7% + medium to dry "real" cider, there is a very slight rosemary herbal note in there too that works well against the apply base and it builds quite nicely.
Ordinarily, I expect Saisons to be a bit prickly in feel on the tongue but this isn't like that at all, this is very smooth in feel and feels a little thick. The carbonisation gives it a bit of a tingle but that doesn't last at all long.
All in all I quite like it, it isn't what I expected from the smell, but it is certainly a pleasant experience.
