I think if he wins convincely over Taylor then he may be in the right to offered more money down the road but to ask for more even though he is a lesser name of Hayes is down right mental

Instead they will be streaming the PPV online? Seems quite idiotic decision to me

Agreed. It'll hurt him financially in the long run, because less people will have seen him. The PPV stream hasn't even been well advertised, so I doubt he'll get many outside hardcore fan circles paying for it. Froch is hurting his own fans with this as well, asking for a PPV figure at this stage in his career is insulting. Both Froch and his promoter Hennessey have tried spinning the the whole scenario so the TV stations look like the bad guys, but in reality they offered Froch what he was worth and he got greedy. Picking up a vacant title against an equally untested fighter does not automatically give you the right to huge money or a shot against Joe Calzaghe. That all said, I hope he beats Taylor and I think he will, but he is losing respect over this entire debacle.

Excellent! HBO do such a good job with these, the directing, camerawork and editing are so professionally done. They really capture the atmosphere of the two fighters preparing to fight

have any of you guys played the ufc demo yet. i gotta say i think it's really good. the game looks amazing. and the ko's are spot on. i haven't had alot of time to get to grips with the ground fighting yet, there's a lot of controls to get used to for different situations. but i'm really happy with it so far. chuck and especially shogun look identical to the real life person. can't wait for this to come out.

Loads of seem to be really on board with this

And yes Mommy it does

That guy seems like a total prick, though. Not DML, the fighter :shifty:

Anyone find me a stream of UFC 97? I would use NinjaVideo but it's not working, google just gives me live streams.

Actually, any UFC that's good, I've only dabbled really and want to watch one.

Right, I am a new guy!

I am wanting to start getting into UFC, anyone got a suggestion of a great ppv to acquire/buy? Currently getting UFC redemption 97, Please don't tell me any spoilers! although at this point in time I know about 3 fighters!

And yes, this is mainly due to me loving the UFC demo on xbox live.

Yeah, new blood!

Ok, I'm still new to this aswell but the first one I so was UFC 92

You had

Forest Griffin Vs Rasheed Evans
Wanderlei Silva Vs. Quinton ' Rampage' Jackson
Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Vs. Frank Mir

Now these guys are some of the top boys in the company. Each one was a good fight too, if you can track this down, this would be an awesome place to start

I have it on my HD but I don't have a mega upload account....

So Fight Night, Froch vs Taylor, any predictions.? I haven't seen Taylor fight but I heard he is on some sort of comeback trip so he seems like he wants this but seeing Froch in his last fight he is not going down easy

Also looking at watching UFC, read about a fight in it with a double knockout somewhere; did it actually happen?

I loved the Jackson/Silva fight from UFC 92.

I would also look out for some early Shamrock/Ortiz fights.

Great, wasn't it? I loved the build up to the match and the bad blood they have between each other. Silva did strawberry float up Rampage in Pride badly  Those knees to the face, ouch

Very good build up to a good match, good to see Rampage win as i don't really like Silva much.

How can anyone dislike Silva, he's easily one of the nicest guys in the sport.

only should be allowed to fight if the rules aren't changed at all. i'm sorry but i think the idea of this guy fighting ridiculous enough for mma,it's a freak show almost. if he wants to risk getting strawberry floated up then that's up to him. but there should be no exceptions or special rules made in his case. if i was a fighter, and i had to fight this guy, i would keep my distance. i wouldn't go in close to give him a chance at all, and repeatedly throw leg kicks to his skull until he's ko'd. you see the leg kicks shouldn't count as soccer kicks to the head, because it's his fault he's small and has no legs not mine. i'd then pound his face into the mat once he went down and feel no remorse what so ever. i hope his opponent does this to him. mma doesn't need freak shows to spoil it.

I agree with you post and i bet no one wants to fight him becuase of doing major damage to him.
