Great to see Rousey lose; usually comes across as a bitch, arrogant, boasted about beating up an old boyfriend, and far too hyped for what she is.

Holm is quality, the plan was evident and she stuck to it well, while Ronda got more and more desperate. Haven't cheered an MMA result like that for a long time.

And I notice Uriah Hall lost again. :lol:

He's so up and down, must be really frustrating if you're his camp/a fan of his.

I have to say I don't follow mma a lot. Is Ronda Rousey really as bad as people are portraying her, I've never noticed this arrogant behaviour in any of her normal interviews or to work. In the run up to a fight yes she acts the confident champion but that's all I've seen. This whole thing about her saying she would fight mayweather is surely all just a joke.

The hype surrounding her is half justified, she is good, but half of it comes from the fact she hasn't really been tested against a quality opponent in UFC (until now it seems). People hate her because of the hype around her, not because her personally - in most cases anyway.

I can understand that but most of the negative comments I see are about how she is a bitch, arrogant, stuck up etc

Having watched the full fight now it's noticeable how often Rousey slipped. I'm not sure why this was, whether it was just because she was always over reaching and stretching but she seemed to be regularly caught off balance.

I don't hate her or anything but women's MMA was utterly boring when the whole thing was just about setting up who Rousey was gonna stomp next

Weow - I just watched the fight. She was destroyed and outclassed the entire fight.
