I wonder how many more decades until MMA fighters aren't contracted to promotions and the sport is structured more like boxing...

It's a double edged sword though, various promoters means more money for the fighters, but one company means we get the fights we want to see. I know Benson Henderson is kind of at the front line of the "fight out your contract" attitude, so maybe we'll see more fighters leaving the UFC if they can get more money and fair play to them.

Also the Holly Holm Q&A was quality!

Finally got to watch the whole Joshua bout, great fight.

AJ's a great combination fighter but he really needs to work on his head movement and his jab to keep the opponent at a distance. I think the main problem was complacency, after rounds 2 and 3 he realised he wasn't just going to steamroll Whyte as he has his other opponents and refocused accordingly.

He needs a couple more fights before taking on someone of Fury's calibre but the potential is undoubtedly there. I was too young to pay much attention to Lewis at his prime, would be fantastic to see a similarly entertaining British fighter rule the heavyweight division again.

You've obviously never stubbed your toe. It bloody hurts. If you catch your nail then you either have to put up with a scratchy nail or you have to go through the effort of finding your nail clippers. If you don't then your wife will moan at you as you keep scratching her in bed. Very frustrating.

I've never rated Haye much either, I see in some quarters he's being feted as the future world champion again but I can't see it. And not just because Fury's vowed never to fight him after Haye repeatedly pulling out before. The main fight of Haye's I remember is his last, the heavily publicised bout against Chisora - although Haye finished it relatively quickly he still looked shaky to me against an opponent who's awful conditioning was immediately apparent. Think he might have a very hard time against de Mori.

Also, quick mention for Joshua's hook that wobbled Whyte then the uppercut that finished him. Really beautifully executed blows, the loping hook in particular.

Oh yeah, no doubt about that. And fans getting to see the fights they want is a massive positive for the current structure, but I don't like how much power UFC has over its fighters. Current prime example being Holly Holm having to possibly wait well into next year for her next fight.

That second and third fight with Velasquez really ruined him.

He always looked a little older than he was, to me anyway.

Just seen shots of the fight. He just looked a bit chunkier than when I last saw him.

Overeem's contract is up and he's won 3 fights in a row now including the former champ.

UFC are probably going to have to give him a pretty secure contract to not lose him

Anderson Silva vs Michael Bisping at that UFC Fight Night in London on February 27th.

David Haye fight is live on Dave next Saturday.
