There was a good vibe in the chat section... but, man, Rayman provided some punishing challenges  .

Yeah, was fun. Wish I could have stayed until the end. Had to go to bed though :(

I did see you were playing Rayman and if it were The Great Escape I might've been more tempted.

I couldn't tear myself away from a certain RDR2 stream last night. :dread:

I've been dipping into a few of these streams when I get a chance and it's been fun viewing.

I don't really get the appeal of watching randoms playing games which is what a lot of Twitch seems to revolve around, but it's certainly more interesting when it's people that you actually know a bit about!

Glad you're enjoying :toot:

Yeah I can understand that, in particular I love the dynamic of a manageable yet active chat that's frequently interacted with by the streamer.

I watch both random people (they are random for a little bit, but then become regular people viewed) and people from here. It's fun, the communities can be great and it's nothing about watching someone play a game. It's the chat, the interaction. I get it's not for everyone.

Glad you've been enjoying watching us losers. Hope we are at least a little entertaining

I guess what I mean is that in my head Twitch is just about a small number of massive "celebrities" that get huge numbers of viewers and I just can't comprehend how that is an enjoyable experience - like you say it's the community and interaction aspect that is enjoyable and that just seems impossible in those cases. Plus watching someone you "know" arsing about in a game just has a bit more weight to it than some rando.

Watching smaller scale stuff just makes more sense to me as you can have that interaction and feel part of the stream rather than just a consumer of something that is basically unaware of your existence!

I agree with you, the people I watch most have lower viewership. When it comes to the massive 10,000 viewers at a time streamers, I don't get how they interact with their viewers at all. I did ask people who have 100-400 viewers who do keep up. They said the BIG streamers just simply don't.
