I just tried signing up with my Gmail and got the same error.

I try recovering an account and put in my email and said I didn't know my username and it turns out I have an account with my Gmail but it doesn't tell you that, it just says use another email. Maybe you made an account before and forgot or something? Try it anyway.

No I've never had a Twitch account. Haven't even watched any streams before until they cropped up on here.

Got to say, such jankyness from Twitch doesn't fill me with confidence about the service. :lol:

It's odd. Never known of that to happen. I'd still try to recover an account. Maybe you did something online before and you had to have a twitch account, or it made one when signing up to something else. Worth a try.

Okay I tried it and the email is associated with daddybrown73 which is my PSN username. I've never used Twitch in my life so wtf is going on? Very dodgy.

No idea. Like I said, maybe you signed up to twitch while singing up to something else. I don't know what it would be though. And, I've never heard of it before, couldn't even find anything on Google

Anyway, updated ny username to Gemini7673. How do I link this banner and whatnot. Like I said, total noob here which is why I've no idea how I already had an account.

The image was made by jawa and the link is just the started URL link for the forum

That should link to your channel perfectly. Obviously it's what we post when going on Twitch, it's not automated or anything.

I gave it a test run and all seems well. Lots of stuff to get my head around though.

I'll be streaming SWBF 2 tonight around 9:30pm

I am messing around a little bit on a throwaway Twitch account I made. I decided to play some Dark Souls because it's the only single player game I have installed :slol:

and maybe inspired by Jawa a bit too.

I really don't know what I'm doing, or if it's even working. I probably won't be on mic much, or very entertaining, I'm just seeing if my laptop can handle it really -- but I'll try to keep an eye on chat so feel free to say hi if you want.

Thanks to Maf, Pedz, Gemini, and a couple of people that I forgot (sorry! EDIT: Kriken!!! and someone else!!!) for tuning in at various stages and helping me get this set up! I sorted out some of the major teething pains so I'll do it again properly some time! :wub:
