About to go live with some festivities! Holiday Lemmings, Christmas NiGHTS into Dreams and (if we have time) some Game Boy Color nostalgia!

I’ll be live with the next instalment of Friday Fantasy, my regular Final Fantasy stream by about 19:30. Tonight I’ll be attempting Earthgift Shrine the first optional dungeon in the GBA remake of Final Fantasy.

Enjoyed that stream last night. Was all alone till a raid came in, but the last 45 minutes of the run were damn good and I ended on my own PB of 2:07.

I'm hoping to get it down to around 1:45 consistently as that seems to be the kind of times I see most people putting in on the streams I watch.

Then I can start competing in some of the Rando tournaments.

So yeah, expect to see more streams of randomisers from me. Probably some more Super Metroid streams as well, since my time for that is getting better everytime.

I'll look out for your randomiser streams CD. I did have fun dabbling in the LttP and SMB3 ones but I think most of my enjoyment from rando stuff will come from watching others play them!

Hoping to get back on the streaming train myself with some more classic Sonic streams soon. I was trying to stream the Android ports of Sonic 1, 2 and CD via emulation but all the Android emulators I could find were either crap, didn't support my controllers, didn't seem to work with streaming or tried to install spyware on my PC. :(

I actually did another one last night. We'd been watching Earfolds do the Super Mario 64 rando and he finished that up about quarter past ten so I jumped on and ran another ALTTP Seed that I wanted to get through. Not as fast as the previous seed, but was done by quarter to one so not too bad.

I'm planning on doing one later in the week, probably Friday, but we'll see how we get on.

EDIT: Watching runs is a great way to get a basic overview of how the game works, as well as pick up some hints and tips on how to proceed with it.

Ah cool, I'll try and drop in for your next one then.

I think the key blocker for me is that the popular randomisers seem to be in games that I am not overly familiar with or that I wouldn't say are some of my favourites. I enjoy watching other people take them on but doing them myself is more of an exercise in frustration!

I've been taking a look at the randomiser list website that was posted back in the thread from last year to see if there are some for games that I am more intimate with. I definitely like the idea of replaying a favourite game with some new progression twists so it would be cool to find something.

Unless it’s retro games on my laptop I won’t be streaming much for a little while, my bloody TV died on me last night. Money is tight at the minute so I’ll have to wait until I get paid before getting a replacement.

It was really weird. I was watching Devlin’s stream on Saturday night just fine before switching my TV off to go to bed then when I tried to switch it on last night it just died.
