Apparently not, her description of it is what I(and this entire country) would just call a pancake. I think they're called "Scotch pancakes" outside of Scotland. :dread:

I’ve heard them called Scotch Pancakes and Drop scwuns.

I believe a Pikelet in the UK is a crumpet but in Australia and New Zealand it’s more like a pancake. Why can’t folk just have the same name for things?
