Isn't it just an optional resolution setting, same as was in the original PC release and also (to a smaller extent?) in the Switch version?

I’m not sure tbh, I didn’t realise the Switch version had any options like that

Yeah it looks great

Crazy how much it is just a modern Jet Set Radio... which is good, that's what I want

I mean it's one thing to take inspiration from other titles but this is really pushing the limit

Anyone seen Golf Wasteland yet? Coming out this week, looked on the Switch eshop and it’s got a 40% discount if you have certain games (one of the colouring book games that was free at some point and I claimed it luckily)

I'm sure I read some Townscaper discussion somewhere but now I can't find it - anyway, I liked these little creations so thought I'd share!

Apparently I've idled away over 3 hours on the game now, which is impressive for what it is.

I don't know how many here played Submerged, but it was a short-ish relaxing exploration game. I enjoyed it a lot. The sequel, Submerged: Hidden Depths - previously a Stadia exclusive - is out on various other platforms next week.

I reckon fans of Baba Is You would also enjoy Remnant Labs: https://neonesque.itch.io/remnant-labs

It's a puzzle metroidvania, really well done!

Crazy how much more realistic the lens distortion makes that, similar to those VHS filter games.

Omori. Available on everything.

Only just started it. Earthbound-style RPG where you use emotions to control the flow of battle, with hand-drawn battle scenes, catchy music, and some immensely dark stuff that feels closer to the likes of Yume Nikki etc. than anything else. Only with some actual structure and gameplay.

The main game world could, I feel, be a bit more grounded. The main 'game world' feels a little too quirky with its choice of NPC designs and furniture. Small quibble though, and I wanted to put it on people's radars if it's not there yet.

Is the game called Townscaper?

I played the Spiritfarer demo for the first time last night, seems a lovely little game. Does anyone know how long it is?

It's pretty bloody long. I didn't finish it but put a good 15 hours in and did not seem to be anywhere near the end. There seems to have been several updates since I played it also.

Some of the music is by Bo En who also did the Lovely Planet and Pikuniku soundtracks (and at least some of Snipperclips, not sure how much).

It's the main reason I'm interested in Omori actually
