GRCade London Meet up! 15 attended! Could Skarjo take oestrogen then fight Serena Williams to the death?

I'm looking at places I could go for a weekend London adventure. Obviously I'm gonna see about Hyde Park, but there's a number of other outdoor areas to go explore. All close by, too.

If you're wanting something Londonny and outdoors Walking along the Southbank from Westminster down to Tower Bridge is a very nice hour or so. Takes in a lot of the London sites.

All good ideas, pub then walkaround the sites sounds lovely. Up for bowling too if everyone else is - though I'm even worse at bowling than Mario Kart, if you can believe such a thing

It's alright Barnsy, I'll probably sit out any bowling altogether. You and I can sit on the sidelines and moan about all these active young people and our backs.

If we find a good enough bowling alley, you'd be able to sit at a bar and sip on some wine while moaning about we young people and your backs.

There's a place called Queens close to Paddington. It's got bowling, an indoor ice rink, and an arcade. If bowling's on the cards, it could be our venue for doing so. If mini golf is more your thing, there's two in Battersea from what I've seen on the visit London site.

Been in Italy for a week lads. Will hammer down some plans beginning of next week!

I will look it up, thanks for the suggestion! I will say that the bowling thing stemmed from an ancient GR meme and I wasn't necessarily being serious but hey let's see where the night takes us.

I'm possibly moving wards before this date. Might be easier or harder to get the day off.

Hi Friends!

We are going to initially meet at the Monkey Puzzle Pub W2 1JQ at 1pm. This is near Paddington and Edgeware Road stations. I won't make a booking but it has a big beer garden, space inside and is close to Hyde park if we wanna lounge there.

No hard plans for the rest of the day but we'll keep attendees posted on location. I would like to play some IRL parlour games with peeps so keep your phone charged so we can do stuff like Gartic phone or Mafia!

If my colleague can swap shifts - I'm up for this. Not going to the opera in the evening but am going to the rehearsals in the morning. Thst should dovetail nicely with the plans.
