This is very true. I was fairly mortified at that. Not as mortified as Drummy at my snoring, though.

The train strike situation is making me a bit uneasy about heading down for this. I very much doubt it'll be settled in week, and... that's pretty much the only way I'm getting down there. Wouldn't want to be trapped in London after the weekend's over. Or even not be able to get there in the first place.

If youre using avanti it's better. Got royally strawberry floated by transpennine today.

I'm keeping an eye on things, but you can never be certain of the unexpected.

I think getting home for me is going to be tricky if there's action that day.

The strikes are only planned for the 21st, 23rd and 25th of June. Are they expected to run longer than that?

Makes me glad I'm getting the coach down and back tbh.

Hopefully it shouldn't be going on into July, but you can never be sure. Guess we'll see come the 27th - the end of the predicted impact on the rail network.

I can't make it unfortunately. Got a funeral to go to and a load of stuff to sort out, so I'm probably going to be in Lincoln for most of next week.

Train booked. Get in to London at 09.30. Train back is 20.20. Gives me 5 hours or so with you fine folk.

There's rumblings of the rail strike being extended.

Please don't let it be true.
