Yes please.

I'm going to make a new thread to discuss things (I'll hit it with an advice tag).

I'll use that over the next 2 weeks to iron out my rules with everyone and also the role PMs so we have everything set in stone and hopefully everyone happy with it all ready for the next time I can run one.

What was your note about moggy?

Thanks for running the game sd and I'm honestly not fussed about the mafia having won. Having said that, I think any non - participant reading through this could only realistically say that the humans did deserve to win.

That whole vote, lynch, vote guilty thing yesterday was absolute insanity, you obviously knew who we meant to kill - the pedantry wasn't necessary. Plus, y'know, killing ob for posting outside the night time then punishing him because you missed the deadline.

Still, until last night's gooseberry fool I had a lot of fun. Mainly thanks to the stress incurred from moggy 's inability to read

Just to slightly reinforce that point while I'm waiting for the gf, I can understand the vote format to make it quicker for you to read but having either

Vote: hexx or lynch: hexx

When we're voting to lynch hexx, and not accepting one of those formats, is mental.

I assume there was a forger that left the godfather note or my transporting meant I showed up as a baddie when killed.

Sorry SD but that was an utter bollocks way to end the game. You strawberry floated us over 2 days ago with not allowing the Hexx lynch and then threw Obo out on a very petty technicality.

An enjoyable game and it was tense there at the end but ruined by the silly voting system and the vague nature of the night phase rules.

The night phase will end at 11PM, I will post the results of the night actions and the game will switch back into the DAY PHASE.

It's very petty to have that rule in place (that clearly says the night phase ends at 11pm) but then end the entire game because you didn't technically announce it.

A slightly hollow victory but I'll take it. :slol:

I have never tried to run one of these games and always try to refrain from criticising the person who does, so I don't want to wade into the debate about Ob.

In the end it doesn't really matter, yes technically we won but it is still perfectly possible to look back at yesterday and applaud the town team for completely turning the game on its head. I'd rather focus on that!

With Hexx as the janitor cleaning the first two kills and Falsey taking both himself and Kezzer out, we were in an absolutely dominant position before the role reveal.

Town got lucky in that we chose to kill Kezzer so it seemed as though we hadn't made a kill, leading to Drummy believing Nun to be The Godfather. Drummy was right but for the wrong reason, in this version if Nun couldn't make the kill then Errkal would as the Mafioso.

Then came the role reveal. If I've learnt anything over the past two games it is simply that in a small game in which everyone has a special role, a big honest role reveal is the best play the town can make once a couple of days have elapsed. From a mafia perspective it is extremely difficult to know how to react.

I was in favour of action, of quickly agreeing to the role reveal and then trying to make convincing stories, especially as that's how I would play if I was town, but Moggy was doing such a great job of arguing and accusing Drummy that we agreed simply to keep quiet. It was bloody tense, especially as we were this close to having Denster lynched and likely winning the game yesterday. :x

Well that was unexpected.

I submitted some might moves last night for lolz as I thought mafia were finished.

I then found out as godfather I was immune to night kills so ob couldn't touch me.

Thankfully because you had outlined your switches I was able to make sure moggy got killed by killing Denster.

The moggy will just just for funded and to add some potential questioning the next day. I wasn't sure how the note would look so wasn't sure how best to word it, as it I don't think it would have done anything.

Sadly the forger role wasn't something even pancake new how it worked so it wasn't something we could really use to its full potential.

That was the pivotal moment for me, Drummy argued well and sensibly and the discussion ended up basically revealing who you all were (after my strawberry float up was sorted). There was a slight doubt as to whether it was you or Denster as the remaining bad guy but I think we were all convinced that it was you.

My role PM:

Hi Moggy,

You are Rin the Transporter!

Both the people you transported will receive the message "You were transported to another location." at the end of the night.

You may choose two people to transport each night. All visitors to those targets will be swapped; anyone who attempts to visit either one of them will visit the other one instead. The order of selecting who to transport does not matter.

Visitors, on the other hand, will not be informed that they hit the wrong target (although some, like killers, may be able to figure it out as someone else has died to their hand.)

If a Jester is lynched, you may transport the guilt to another player, even if said player did not vote guilty on the Jester.

Roles that can target themselves normally will use their personal action (e.g. Bodyguard using vest, Arsonist igniting anyone who is doused).

Roles that cannot target themselves normally will use their night ability on themselves (e.g. killing, investigating, role blocking)

There are times when your transport might not work, but I'll explain that if it happens.

You fight with the town and will win when you destroy the Yakuza and the Neutral roles.

I had no idea what Rocsteady was on about when he was saying about Kevlar. It was only a last minute re-read that made me spot the reference to the "bodyguard using vest" which clicked that that must be what Rocsteady was on about. :fp:

Here's how I would've used the forger role:

You clean the bodies from the first 2/3 nights, as in use up all of Hexx's abilities and on each of them forge a fake last will with them claiming a role you know they don't have on it to confuse the hell out of the town. In fact, you could've picked any role and the town would have been none the wiser.

The other one is last night you could've killed Moggy, but made up a fake transport list so it looked like he switched you and Denster, that way Ob and Rocsteady might've believed that Denster was actually the godfather as he was immune to the kills. An example of a good fake will (or even real one) is the below:

Qikz the Lookout

Night1: tar Moggy (nobody visited)
Night2: tar Denster (visited by Kezzer)
Night3: tar Kezzer (visited by Falsey and Errkal)
Night4: etc. etc. etc.

Basically the idea of the last will is to release any actions you've done to the town as evidence. The forger's role is there to try and strawberry float with that.

I think only Mindcrime sent me a will though.

I was pretty sure I would be killed last night as I was convinced Denster was innocent and I made so much noise about who you all were. But after almost getting Rocsteady lynched the other day, I felt I should take one for the team.

Oooh I didn't know I could do fake transport lists and gooseberry fool!

I don't think pancake knew that either so might need some revisions on the role pm.

Personally I think the humans should have won they knew who we were etc. We just go super lucky that I was only being vigi killed and not lynched as that's what saved me and won it.

Looks as if I'll need to iron out the role PM for Forger then if Pancake had no idea what his role could do, although Nun would've known so I'm surprised he couldn't tell you.

I had no idea what it was about since nobody seemed to have a will. I couldn't work out the best way to use it or even how to use it, although I guess it would have worked well in conjunction with the janitor role. Shame, could have been fun to tamper with wills!

Also, whichever transporter switched me on night 4, touche! That was a really nice touch, since without having to tell anyone in the thread you were able to test Denster. That's why he seered me incorrectly, because he had actually seered Moggy or Rocsteady without knowing it.

That was me, it was actually what convinced me that you were guilty and Denny was innocent.

Well, nicely played. At that point we were convinced we had lost, I was just making a last feeble attempt to survive. It would have been amazing if I'd managed to get Denster killed first.

If it had come down to it you would have been strawberry floated as there is no way we would risk a Denster meltdown if we wrongly killed him. ;)

I protected him from a vigi kill in the first few days by transporting him. I'd have been strawberry floating furious if he had been a bad guy.

Why did the Mafia kill me instead of someone that still had some power?

Also what role was Mini E? I'm pretty sure Mori was being truthful about his Bodyguard role.
