Something odd was happening during my fight with Ancient Dragon, I could actually eat a hit from him and survive. If I wasn’t fully hollowed I could have likely taken 2 hits and been okay.

When I fought him years ago on PS3 every attack was one shotting me. I assume because my level is so high now and this is NG rather than NG+ that I must have either just enough defence or simply high enough HP to be able to weather a hit from him.

Nice but don't rely on it too heavily, the resources needed to upgrade it are scarce and perhaps better spent elsewhere, it does very high base damage for about the first half of the game but you'll struggle from Anor Londo onwards as it doesn't scale as you level up.

Yeah, I don't plan kn sticking with it.

Can't watch your streams at work unfortunately Pedz but it seems like you are powering through at the moment, is that every day this week you've been playing some Souls? How far have you got now?

With a bit of luck I'm going to try and get on and stream for about an hour or so myself tonight.

I started Tuesday, but only plan to play it 2 days a week as I have MGS and Mario Galaxy to get through on my channel in the days (I have other nightly games and tbh, It's gotten to be too many) but the kids are off school next week so I was going to do today and tomorrow to make up for a week away from it.

As I said, here is the 3rd stream, got me a Drake Sword and everything.

Managed to reach both bonfires in Blighttown - it's a bit of a shithole but not quite as bad as I was expecting given its reputation. Of course I'm yet to face the boss down here so I'm sure my opinion will rapidly change :slol:

Managed to level up a fair bit and even done a bit of soul-farming, so feeling far more comfortable and confident with the game in general.

Tempted to high tail it out if here and return to Firelink so I can do some item purchasing and maybe try somewhere else to see what my level is.
