Does Bloodborne count Started a playthrough on Sunday 11th that I've been streaming. In my current Dark Souls playthrough that I put on hold a few weeks ago I'd just beaten the Capra Demon and was about to head into the Depths.

Nice idea. Don’t add me to the list yet, but I will be starting Bloodborne at some point, and maybe going back to the Souls when Series X arrives.

My current save was started on 17th February so I guess that's the date you should put on the log for me. Playing on Switch btw.

Just reached the bonfire in the Depths, feeling good.

Dang! Sorry, SugarDave! Maybe... you could try Bloodborne, if you have a PS4? Or... undertake another run at one of the games? :-).

Ah! Those two goons proved to be my nemesis in my first run last year, Dual. If you do fancy continuing the run or having a crack at one of the other games in the series, just post in here and we can add your details on.

I have been considering starting another Bloodborne run, it's still my favourite of the bunch after going through the others. I'd planned to hold off on it until we know whether that PS5/PC rumour is rubbish or not, but might just go ahead with it.

I've decided a fun build could be to go Wanderer and not use any extra weapons or armour. The Scimitar is a pretty good weapon that upgrades to Quelaag's Furysword at +10, but the Leather Shield is terrible, so overall it will be an interesting challenge. But it might be a bit repetitive sticking to just that one melee weapon the whole game - maybe I can cheat a little bit and let myself get a Pyromancy Flame. I mean, it's not really a "weapon", right?

EDIT: Ah, or I've always wanted to do an Ornstein cosplay build with spears and lightning... ah, I can't decide... this is the hardest part of Dark Souls! EDIT 2: No! I'll stick to my plan!

Had a session tonight - and I've cleared the Depths

Didn't die once which surprised me, although I did get some help from a random summon on the massive toothy vagina boss (dat gape ) so that definitely made things easier.

Contemplated heading straight down to Blight Town but decided against it and headed back to Firelink Shrine for some R&R, I think the Catacombs will be my next stop now I've levelled up a bit.

I have no real knowledge about different build types but I understand that this is quite a big feature of the series in terms of allowing for different types of playthrough. When I create my character tomorrow I expect I'll dish out the points pretty evenly!

Nice going, Preezy - it sounds like you're making great progress. Not dying? That's not the true Souls experience!

Was really tempted to fire this up on Switch tonight but have decided to wait until I've got my new PC built and start it fresh on there.
