Genuinely I do not understand how it's a problem - vials drop like candy from a pinata in this game! I'm not in any way suggesting I was great at the game, I suspect I played it with a 'normal' level of challenge and failure, which is why I don't get how vials can be a problem. I was less than halfway through the game when I hit the 600 storage limit for vials

But I wasn't telling you or anyone there were bad, I was trying to understand the situation because it didn't tally with my experience. As I said last time, I in no way believe I am better than the next person at this game and I didn't experience this problem - that's why I'm enquiring about it.

) and reached that silver bull bastard thing, which killed me. Current deaths: 1!

Not heard of Fume Knight before, just quickly looked him up - he's a Dark Souls 2 boss so that's something for me to look forward to!

One of the things I always find fascinating about these games is the variety in what people find to be the hard parts - there are bosses that I know others struggled with which I found to be relatively painless (Blood-starved Beast in BB for example) but then there are others where the consensus seems to be that they are on the easier end of the spectrum but I've struggled with them.
I don't think there's really any universal way of saying that "boss X is the hardest" - so much depends on your individual play style and approach. Part of the problem I think is that it's easy to get into a bit of a rut and think that the tactics you used for one boss should work on all of them and sometimes I think players are reluctant to actually observe and adapt to what each boss is throwing at them

Beaten 2-2 and 3-2 in Demon's Souls now. It's starting to get a bit more difficult now - I had to try Flamelurker a couple of times, and Maneater also took me a few goes. 4-2 next!
I haven't touched world 5 at all yet because I heard it's worth putting off as long as possible
