Already getting the itch to another run of a Pokémon game but really should wait for BDSP to come out!

Haha I know the feeling! Trying to keep myself for BDSP, but I'm getting a massive itch to start a Shiny Badge Quest on Let's Go Pikachu!

After struggling a bit against the Fairy gym I decided to switch my team around a bit and ditch Axew in favour of Treeko because honestly I never used it.

Now onto Circester!

Update: Piers down, Reihan to go. Tyrantrum, Aururous and Salamance all evolved today too so now the team is as it should be.

I might see about adding Rayquaza as Serpentor, Volcanion as Volcanicus and Lapras as Paddles once I have the DLC for a little variation.

Thanks for the update Carlos, you're team looks great and would be quite formidable if you make those additions!

I recently did Reihan and got to Wyndon. I finally have all the full evolutions of Tyrantrum, Salamanca and Aururos. Adding Sceptile was a game changer as it enabled a lot more flexibility in move selection and type.

Great stuff, it's awesome when a tactical change change goes to plan! Sorry I haven't been around for ages. I've had a huge amount on my plate recently. I finally have more time on my hands now so should be around more ☺️

The game was pretty easy though, so I think I'll try something difficult from the outset with the next game I play.

Personally, while the other type advantages and disadvantages come naturally to me, the Fairy type is one I struggle to understand - Sword was the first game I played where it was a thing! So I'm leaning towards attempting a Fairy-only playthrough for Pokemon Legends Arceus.

I'll be keeping an eye on this page (Arceus Dex list) to see if that's viable though. At the moment I would struggle to assemble a team!

It's still looking bad - there are barely any Fairy-types in the game so far. Frankly I don't love the idea of tackling the game with only Clefable, Mr Mime and Gardevoir!

I’ve realised if you like using Mythical Pokémon you could have a really good run in BDSP, if you play it before February 2022 you get a Manaphy egg, then you can get a Mew and Jirachi if you have other save data on the console, obviously you’ll need to use your starter till you can get them all but I think you can have them all shortly after the first gym? Been a long time since I played gen 4 so couldn’t say for sure. It might actually make for a reasonable run as well, so often you don’t really get to use many of the Legendary/Mythical Pokémon in the games due to how late you get them.
