Ordered what was supposed to be a loose cart of Tennis for the original Gameboy for £2 including postage it arrived today and it's a boxed copy with cart, plastic case, manual and registration card all it's missing is the inner box. I am very happy with it.

In honesty I have very very few original Gameboy boxed games, all of the ones I had as a kid I think were gotten second hand so never had boxes and I havent picked up many with boxes only thing boxed I have from childhood would be one of the pokemons and I bet the box to that is all crushed. I find it more amazing than anythging that when there made of card that there are any like 8 out of 10 or better boxes left.

Just noticed those 2 Namco NES/famicom game collections were £3.99 each on the Switch's Eshop so decided to buy them, got the first one then went to get the second one and it only charged me 19pence for it, not sure if this was a mistake or not but I have checked my bank and checked it works so happy days I guess.

I grabbed a ps2 game yesterday for £1 a game called Whiplash its pretty decent

Whiplash is a cool game, I had it on XBOX. Spanx the weasel was a character from XBOX launch game Mad Dash Racing too.

Maybe it gives you a big % off one if you buy the other and they let it stack during the sale?

But you may also have got a discount using gold coins you had racked up. Might check this out myself... Arcade games (80s era)I find a little thin compared to 16bit era equivalents I grew up with (megadrive etc) but 4.20 is very low.

Just got a 128GB card and have already filled it day 1 of putting it in, I've bought so much :fp:

I know it wasn't gold coins as I only had about 20pence worth so maybe a discount for getting the first one. My switch has a 256mb card in it and it's full to the hilt, if memory was cheaper I'd buy more games, I tend to buy a lot more Xbox stuff because of this.

My switch has a lot of old stuff on it , the Megadrive collection, banco arcade collection, Castlevania collection, Capcom brawlers collection. I find this stuff a lot easier to just dip in and out of.

I had jurassic Park for GB and it comes with one of the most infuriating twat kid stories. I lent it to someone who then claimed a teacher had confiscated it. Just the cartridge. I asked the teacher and they had no idea what I was talking about. They'd just strawberry floating lied to keep it.

It's identical to the NES game which I have boxed now though.

True Lies came from this really cruddy mobile phone shop they just randomly had like 8 Gameboy carts in the window, this was the only one that was a decent price.

Donkey Kong land 2 was from a retro game shop where most things were massively over priced an NTSC loose SNES cart of street fighter 2 World Warrior was £25 for example, but I went through everything looking for something decently priced.

I go to lots of Pawn stores, Indy game stores, charity shops and just look for weird shops that strangely happen to have games. I am autistic and suffer from PTSD and anxiety and hunting for cheap games is something that seems to calm me down, it's a bit of an adiction but I guess I could be doing worse things like shooting crack lol

There is a games shop the name of which escapes me which is down a tiny out of the way road, I will check next time I'm in town he has lots of stuff the prices vary but he is often open to offers (it's like 5 minutes from the Victoria center).if your willing to stray a bit and take a bus if you go to Kirkby via the number 3 bus there's a really cool toy and game shop on there main shopping street. Other than that it's just the usual CEX's and charity shops. Nottingham used to have a lot more game shops but they have all died in the last 5 years or so, even the best one in bout near neighbour Derby has died only leaving one which tends to be mega expensive for most things.

Didn't know about the one in Kirkby, I'll check it out next time I'm in the Mansfield area, thanks!

Not aware of the Notts one you're talking about so if it comes back to you then let me know, I'd be interested in a wander round it.

There would have to be some stunning bargains to get me to go to Kirkby though. :dread:
