No idea to be honest, i don't even know the value of it (or any of the other games in the box).

Depending on what it looks like out of the box you’d look at anything between £55-£120 for it in good, CIB condition

I looked at it earlier and it's in pretty decent nick, the manual/hyrule map/other documents are present in the box too (though the little secrets book is a really tatty now).

The best condition of all the games though is Starwing, one end of the box still has a little nintendo seal sticker on it (filmed a video of it today so when uploaded, you can all have a closer look).

Agreed with Gecko. And it's from the right era - anything released after 2000 will get big money if it's in the right condition. Only 16 were released in the UK and they all go for quality money if they're in that kind of condition - especially Mario Party 3, Paper Mario, Aidyn Chronicles, Conker's BFD, Banjo-Tooie and Pokemon Stadium GS. If you've got any of them boxed and in good nick you're immediately looking at £150, in the kind of condition yours is in yeah. You're definitely looking at £300+ I'd reckon. There are a few other big ones outside that period too - boxed Chameleon Twist 2 will set you back nearly a ton, Rush 2049 is insane, and four games were only released in AUS PAL so you're looking at £600+ for them.

Anyway, if you ever fancy selling Banjo-Tooie or Majora in that nick, give me a shout. :slol:

I wanted Mario Party 3, but sadly i could only afford one game at the time so i went and got Paper Mario.

I also wanted Conker, but the price was £59.99 which was bloody daylight robbery (Banjo was 49, still excessive, but not quite as bad, so i went for that instead too).

Might try and dig out Starwing for a video at some point though.

Conker with a torn label cart only was £130 yesterday in CEX.

It's not that good of a game, but I should have bought the rental copy lol

CEX can be a hive of torn labels crushed boxes, reprinted front covers etc and a lot of the time they dont care its still full RRP ... I did however get some SNES games and a GBA game from CEX boxed for cart only price because in the odd branch if there in not so good condition they seem to charge cart only prices but its certainly not something done through all branches.

They had 5 copies of pokemon let's go eve for £42, with a reprinted cover at the front. Same price.

Just a box swap with some gooseberry fool game then, that's cart only you knobs.

Yep, I agree if theres no real front cover then theres no box and the price should reflect that

Not indefinitely.

Grabbed Super Formation Soccer 96: World Club Edition for the Super Nintendo Japanese cart only for £3

The cool thing here is you know Super Soccer that everyone on the SNES seemed to have? well in Japan that was called Super Formation Soccer and this is the 4th entry in that series (only the first made it out of Japan)

I actually decided to treat myself to a couple of games which were a little more expensive. I sold a Laptop Id built so decided to use the money on treats for me and the other half, I got £30 of games and got her some bits she wanted with the rest.

I got

Kidou Butoden G-Gundam loose (Japanese) cart only for the SNES for £10. Its a Gundam based one on one fighter (street fighter 2 style) and something I have kept my eye on for awile hoping for a cheap copy.

Rockman 5 (Megaman 5) loose cart only for the Famicom (Jap NES) for £10

Mole Mania loose (Japanese) Game Boy cart only copy for £10 , its a gamedeveloped by Nintendo EAD and Pax Softnica and is one of the least known works of a certain Mr Shigeru Miyamoto. Going to dive into this over the weekend before moving on to try G-Gundam as thats a game I want to review for my SNES Review Series.

Where did you get them from kerr, as I'm guessing you sought them out specifically rather than being random charity shop finds?

I got them from a retro game shop that's in a nerby town Id got stuff from them before but I got in touch with them awhile ago to ask if they got a copy of the Gundam game in to let me know and give me a ball park figure for what they'd wont for it, I was expecting more £18 but they said if they had other stuff I wanted they'd cut a good deal for it ,hence getting the 3 at once, when I picked the 3 things I would like they said how about £10 a piece. The weird thing is they don't typically do a lot of import stuff, I think its a bit typically out of there wheelhouse so there probably glad for me to grab all import things.

Got a few more bits today, I guess I have been on a bit of a retro cart buying streak

Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden Japanese cart only for the SNES £2.50
Human Grand Prix Japanese cart only for the SNES £2.50
Genuine F-1 Grand Prix Part II cart only for the SNES £2.50

BlastDozer Japanese Cart only for the N64 for £4 (Know as Blast Corps over here)

also got a small pile of loose 3DS and DS games for £5 Batman 2 DC super heroes (3ds) , Moshi monsters them park (3ds) Teenage mutant ninja turtles (3ds) , Meteos Disney Magic (ds), Urban Asphalt gt (ds) art academy (ds) fifa 07 (ds) and brain training (ds). It was just a small pile of tat a local pawn store had and wanted shot of so offered to me on the cheap.... I remember really enjoying Meteos and have heard Turtles is like a diablo light kind of game so figured Id go for it.

I've had a couple of recent chuckles thanks to CEX. Prices in spoilers.

The first was in the Brighton store. Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64), cart only, label half torn off. £130.

The second was in the Worthing store. Donkey Kong 64 CIB, no expansion pack, box in 3/10 condition, creased, tattered and ripped. £75.

One of the best things I got CEX Retro wise was getting a Cart only copy of Pokemon Stadium 2 for something around £12 or £15 it was what ever the cost of the first one was unboxed at the time, theyd wrongly put it up as being the first.

I got Final Fantasy X for PS2 today complete for £1
and I got V Rally 2 Championship complete for PS1 for 50Pence

I saw that copy of BFD too and think I mentioned it somewhere else.

This was today.

They grade their mobiles, tablets, and have discounted consoles. But not games or accessories, including the items most subject to abuse. Madness.
