Also found these in the cupboard the other day spent 70 on the pair if my memory serves like 3 years ago

I don’t think anyone includes the plastic bag, but some people like to have all the promotional stuff along with the game. However given that this can differ even from shop to shop, CIB is usually considered to just be game, insert and manual inside the box.

I wouldn't pay more for like little registration cards or stuff but I do get a thrill when I buy something and there in there. People seem to have been selling stuff like that recently separate and it's like 4quid for a scrap of card sod off if I'd contemplate paying that.

PC first, consoles shortly after!

Interested to see how well it holds up with the improvements they are making to it.

Madden's turned up already and I'm off to pick up EA Supercross a bit later this afternoon, so that only leaves me with NBA Live 2000 to complete the N64's EA Sports catalogue! I also figured out that, including the Australian exclusives and 40 Winks, I need to find 64 N64 games, which is nice.

Also, anyone with much experience buying from CEX online? I’m on the verge of dropping a considerable wedge of my bonus on some gear they’ve got in, but I’ve heard mixed things.

Cex does not take condition into account and classifies all stock as the same. I’d be wary buying anything not recent from them online.

Cex online is risky it can be perfect like new or batters and almost unplayable. Even if you visit them it can vary wildly, I've seen one branch trying to sell games with mold on them as boxed complete full price but then seen another branch sell a game in about the condition of the 1080 snowboarding pic I posted as a loose cart cause they've deemed the box and manual too crap to include in the price

Nice. I've owned both for a couple of years but haven't played them yet. I really need to put the time aside for Shining the Holy Ark!

The only game I've bought in the last month is Shining Wisdom for Saturn. I now own all three PAL Shining games for Saturn and haven't played any of them. :fp:

For what it's worth, last thing I bought Wii Fit Plus, externally was OK and the game was fine but the battery compartment was corroded (I managed to clean it up and it works but that should probably have been B/C stock at best or not taken in). So expect them to test the thing turns on in some cases but not much more than that. I know they do test their consoles and devices etc to some degree, hard to say what that is. They do sell everything with a 2 year warranty though I think it is?

When I'm doing my pricing for selling my stuff, I use CEX, and often I'll look at the pictures people have put in the comments and the stuff looks like dogshit. My stuff is pretty much like new and I sell it for less than that.

Pretty sure if you aren't satisfied with what you receive can send it back, may want to check that first.

This isn’t actually true, they have specifications for “boxed” and “mint” on cardboard boxed games, but I’ve heard some absolute horror stories of what the mint boxes actually look like.

Must be a new thing then. When I was buying gamecube off them years ago they'd send whatever my way with no warning it'd be so rough.

I got a boxed complete copy of Jet Force Gemini for N64 which came in one of those nice plastic box protectors for £4 with free postage, which is crazy when you think it must have cost a few quid in postage. It actually makes me think I should buy more of these plastic protectors at some point.

I got a loose N64 cart of Buck Bumble for £3, a loose cart of Rugrats treasure hunt for N64 for £2, a loose cart of Smurfs nightmare loose cart for gameboy color for £2.50, a loose American SNES cart of Tasmania for £4, and roadsters for Gameboy Color for £3 this is boxed with manual but the box is missing the insides and is tatty..

I actually also sunk like £38 on 30 SNES/N64 plastic box protectors, 10 replacement card inlays for N64 games and 10 plastic protectors for GBA games as I was inspired by liking that copy of Jet Force Gemini in one.
