Guess there's not much you can do to prevent them from eventually packing up?

Modern solutions!

If you have any saves your worried about then I'd guess if you put this in one slot and your old cards in the other you could slide your saves across and preserve them.

I love how folk are still working out ways of doing things on old gaming computers that couldn't be achieved in their heyday. This range of colour on the Commodore 64 shouldn't be possible!

Looks more like an Amiga image doesn't it, wonder if they could get my beloved spectrum to show more colours and not have them be fighting to be the most eye assaulting mix possible

I'd guess that storage space is a challenge, kerr - I think that you have some games at your own place and some at your dad's, IIRC? Do you have many gaming systems setup, dude?

Yeah storage is definitely an issue, most of my stuff is at my dad's , I basically have the top half of the house which is a corridor with a big cupboard and a large attic room , I have all sorts set up there negative, SNES, PS1 etc and then I stay at my other halfs where I have nothing set up bar an Xbox and a draw with handhelds in.

Never even thought about using RetroArch to emulate PSP games and I'm finally able to play Outrun 2 Coast To Coast again. God damn this game is so good.

Is it using the PPSSPP emulator?

I tried playing Outrun 2 on it a couple of years ago and it was too glitchy to play.

Two great games for amazing prices, kerr. It's good to hear that your OG Xbox collection is growing!

When the machine was current, I remember getting up to about 100 OG Xbox games and then I swapped loads in for DS games and later felt a bit bad about it.... I am not sure how many I have now but I am pretty sure I counted once and it was over the original 100. I dont know if there is anything I had that I dont have now that I miss, my favourite games on the machine were Jade Empire, Knights of the old republic 1 and 2, republic commando, Time Splitters 2 and I know I have all of these so happy with that (well apart from my Republic Commando has no front cover).

Picked up Jade Empire in the oxfam bookshop for £2.50 on the off chance it'll work on Series X. Stuck the disk in and it's downloading a 6gb patch so that sounds promising.

Been playing Mario Golf on the GBC and I'm loving playing it again, but strawberry float beating the Links course is difficult. I didn't lose one tournament until this one and I keep losing. Damn this is tough.

EDIT: Finally did it!
