I dont think id go for a full set but I am feeling tempted to get more and soon.... going to a medical appointment tomorrow and I am sure there is a Game and an Argos nearish to it both of which stock them so very sure one more cart will come home with me , which with the 4 I now have would make 5 in a very short space of time.

I was the same!

I'll just get a few that really interest me. Oh, there's an offer for buying five at once. These ones are discontinued, so I'll get those too.

Now I have gaps in the numbers that are demanding to be filled. They were very canny, numbering the series like that.

I don't think I've ever found a cart in stock at Argos. They list them, but they always seem to be "delivered to store in two days" etc.

If you order from Amazon, the seller BoETech is the manufacturer, Blaze, so very trustworthy.

Thanks for the help chap much appreciated :)

Nice video, and yep, you got a bargain!

Something else that’s useful: they’re not allowed to say stuff like “SNES version” for trademark reasons or something, but this site tells you which versions of the games are on the carts:

Yeah I know what you mean ...£15 to £18 is an enticing price.

I got the Technos Arcade cart today for £15
Orderd the Oliver Twins Cart for £18
The Pico 2 Cart for £15

And just as I was typing this out the misses decided to order me the Pico 1 cart and shes spent the £15 it was on me....

So thats 8 of them I will have now..... I think I better slow down a bit.

On the flip side, it sounds perfectly achievable to have the complete library for sensible money.

Haha, some excellent choices too! The Oliver Twins cart is fantastic. In addition to all the Dizzy stuff, I really enjoyed Super Robin Hood.

I remember playing Super Robin Hood back in the day... My main reason for getting it is Treasure Island Dizzy wow did I play the heck out of that back in the day.

I just ordered 3 Arcade Evercade carts for £33 including postage, didn't mean to get these so early but they were £17.99 each on Amazon so when the chance to get 3 for £33 came up I was suckered in.

Ed Lomas, who used to work on CVG, Official Dreamcast Magazine and others, answered a few questions on Reddit a number of years ago that’s an interesting read: https://www.reddit.com/r/dreamcast/comm ... n_the_day/

I enjoyed reading that; great link, KK! I never owned a Dreamcast but I do remember seeing the demo pods and the mags.

I Remember him, he was one of the main guys at CVG and a lot of the fan art printed in 'Drawinz wot u dun' would feature him.

Great to see his answers to the questions, very interesting read.

Did he write for Crash? I think that's where I know him from. Strictly as Ed "Pink Floyd" Lomas.

He was also briefly on Official Xbox Magazine as Reviews Editor when James Ashton was editing it back in 2002. Maybe 7 issues or something like that.

He was replaced by Steve O'Rourke, who genuinely looked 13.

I've just learned of the existence of the Front Mission series on the PlayStation. It looks right up my street so I'm going to give front mission 3 a try.
