It's 7 days unless you've set up Twitch Prime, something I should do for the GRcade account.

My Twitch Prime is set up, so for my account it's 28 days.

BTW, I think I found your name in N64 Magazine's bonus letters section the other day when I was reading through some old copies. Was it you?

I think I had a couple of letters published across either Issues 98,99 or 100 of what must have been NGC by that point if you want to have a search!

I had my name published loads of times in both N64 and NGC Magazine. Mostly for being awesome at games.

I once won two games for my C64 in the same issue of Zzap! 64  . One of the games was a prize for drawing a picture of Roland Rat  .

Had a cheat code for Primal Rage published in Sega Power, a cheat code which I 'borrowed' from Gamesmaster.

When I was ten I wrote N64 an absolutely incomprehensible letter and sent it via e-mail but mercifully nothing ever came of it. It's been fun to go through the magazines and spot people who I would later get to know on GR and here writing in. One person who I now count as a close friend had one about the race for the first player controller published in a later issue of the mag.

As far as I remember I never got a letter in a games magazine, I did get a few in UK Spiderman and X-men comics though. The days of having to pay to post something in to see if it gets in a mag are long gone, being able to email stuff in is something I definitely see as a good modern improvement.

Astonishing Spider-Man? I've got around 250 issues of that stored in my mum's loft, if you know what issues and volume they're from I'll look them out when I can!

Yeah it would have been Astonishing Spiderman sometime around Kain and Scarlet Spider being in it , once I can get back in my Dads for a long enough time I will find the issues as I know I still have them. I actually have a reasonable size comic collection that I never talk about , I have starwars comics from like 1978, the first 3 issues of the original Planet of the Apes comics , The first 3 issues of a 70's Marvel Comic called Dracula lives , loads of UK transformers comics , never talk about them partially as there sealed away where its a pain to reach them and cause I didnt think anyone would care lol

I loved Astonishing, it was, and is, a great resource for classic Spider-Man stories and reprints.

Rare game klaxon - a copy of Madden NFL 99 on the N64 just popped up on eBay (legitimately the first time I've ever seen it on there) and was promptly claimed by me, for an unreasonable amount of money. 60 to go...

Nice pick-up, Cora. I don't even remember Madden getting a PAL release on N64; I will have to go and look at some footage on YouTube.

I never knew a thing about American Football until I started playing videogames. Madden 92 and 93 on the Mega Drive were just fantastic! I'd even give a shout-out to Play-Action Football on the Game Boy; lousy graphics but great fun.

Only 64 and 99 did, Jawa. Madden 2000-2002 were released NTSC only. I guess it didn’t do great business in the first two iterations. It’s good to have all the NFL games for the console now - I already have Madden 64 and the Konami Quarterback Club games!

Alas, cart only. I’m not incredibly bothered about boxes for the EA sports games, to be honest, but it would’ve been nice to grab a CIB for this one. NBA Live 2000 and, erm, Hot Wheels Turbo Racing are the only EA published games I still need for the system.

Still need seven or so sports games though. Ready 2 Rumble, NBA In the Zone 2000, NBA Live 2000, NHL Breakaway ‘99, NHL Pro ‘99, Centre Court Tennis and F1 Racing Championship, which shouldn’t count. Also need some pseudo sports games - Milo’s Astro Lanes, Destruction Derby 64, Top Gear Hyper Bike, Off Road Challenge and Rush 1-2. I don’t really tend to count racing games though.

Ordered a loose N64 cart of 1080 snowboarding for £2.50 with free postage it arrives it's the cart , the manual and the outer box all it's missing is the internal card, I love it when this sort of thing happens.

I love this, It always a nice surprise. This happened before for me, and the guy sent a note along with it telling me to enjoy the game. I paid a tenner for it, he could have sold it for 40.

Nice one! What's the box quality like? 1080 is one I'm looking forward to upgrading to a decent CIB. :D

1080 is one of the cheaper decent CIBs going. Here's mine, purchased a year ago for around £15.

See, I consider CIB to mean it includes everything that originally came in the box (health and safety leaflet, promotional material and little plastic bag/case for cartridge based systems like the GBA and GB), not just the game and manual.
