My only problem at the moment with him at the moment is the sideburns.

When I went to see him, he opened the door and barked at me...

Apologies for the late post guys, only just managed to set the 2DS up after a busy Boxing Day. Chose my free game (Zelda, of course) and will be giving all 3 of the games a good blast on the journey up to Wales tomorrow.

I'm still pretty gobsmacked by everyone on here's kindness, to be honest. I can't quite believe that an online community (my only one) could be as thoughtful and selfless as this. To have even thought about doing something like this for DML and I, yet alone going through with it and being as generous as you lot have been, is really incredible. It just shows what an amazing place GR is.

I think I speak for both DML and myself when I say this has been one of the most touching things anyone has ever done for either of us. I'd like to say a huge massive thank you to everybody involved in this, and in particular Buffalo. I've already been the recipient of a gift from him within the last 12 months, and I know he runs various events on here every year, so it goes without saying that he's a top man. But to do something like this is just utterly unbelievable  thank you so much for completely making my Christmas, Buff and GR. I strawberry floating love you guys.

EDIT: I'll get some pics of me with the DS up over the next couple of days, haven't had much of a chance to yet.

Is that not just the standard way of answering the door down south?

Well done guys.

Been reading the past few pages just to see how everyone got on and I'm blown away by the generosity for DML and PMM. Makes me proud to be a part of GRcade. Just wish I'd known and I'd have slung in a few quid as well.

You guys. Utter legends.

Hmm, I'm afraid not :(

Though if it's Royal Mail, our postie, a nice chap called Bob, knows that we're not back until Monday so he'll bring it in then.

The Dick book is one I've had my eye on, and the other one sounds awesome. Same again for the comics, I've been planning on reading Preacher and the Dahmer one looks pretty fascinating.

PSN vouchers will come in handy obviously, and the card needs no explanation.

Glad you liked them mate. The Dick book looked really good so i went for that one. The preacher was the one that was delayed so i got the Dahmer one as back up. Happily it arrived in time.

Thanks again to Laga. Im building the lego this afternoon.

I played super Mario bros u with my cousin and brother at Xmas, this is the first time I've ever experienced such a thing. My mum frowns upon games at Xmas for no reason but was endeared to my aunt, later on even my granny was bowling as her first video game experience! Even though my brother basically loathes me, despite constantly leaving us behind he was a good sport and we cleared a few levels. It was a great moment as we haven't been getting on, not long ago I smashed a glass in a pub and ended up screaming at him. :| but it all dissolves when you're derping around with motion controls floating around with giant pink balloon Yoshi's.

Thanks Shadow, you're a star! Also metroid suit in Mario kart is ace
