With the loss of Buff...RIP...it's time for someone to take over and save GRcade Christmas this year and I thought why the hell not return and be that angel sat at the top of the Christmas tree for the festive season.

So here we go, it's going to the same concept as all previous years because why break something that isn't broken right?!?

Hello and welcome to GRcade Secret Santa 2016! I love the Secret Santa and it really brings the whole forum together, I'm sure I'm not the only one that throughout the years has got some really well thought out gifts at Christmas time from other members.

Important stuff -

1) Minimum spend is £10
2) You need to indicate whether or not you are Christmas Day Safe when you give me your address - being 'safe' means that there is no potential embarassment if a forumite opens up their goodies in front of family.
3) Please indicate if you do not wish to buy for anyone in particular - perhaps you've bought for a few people in the past and want someone different, or you may just plain dislike certain people.
4) Please briefly consider whether you genuinely think you can afford / have time for buying and receiving gifts. You can sign up now, but once we reach the address swaps, I can't have people dropping out.
5) If you take part and somehow manage to strawberry float up enormously by not getting a gift to someone, then you'll be cast out like the failure you are (in English, a permaban, Merry Christmas mummy strawberry floater).

The OP will be updated with entrants. Signing up is all you have to do for now, and you have just over 10 days to do so - the deadline is the end of Monday 14th November.

Maybe alone in thinking this but can we make sure someone who only posts a few times a year is not allowed in.

I'm speaking from personal experience of why I say this as I've been on the receiving end of something that hadn't had much thought in.

Yeah, I've had someone who rarely posted and they're pretty difficult to buy for as well. Then when they don't even post to acknowledge your gift...

So I've only posted a handful of times this year....

Think the ruling is you've got to be apart of GRcade for the long run in the past or you've got to have been active this year if you're new.

I know whenever I get someone I always go through the past posts by people to find out what they like/have/want etc.

Possibly worth adding to the OP, this years Royal Mail last postage dates,

As usual other couriers may vary, and despite the word "Guaranteed" in the Special delivery service names, I wouldn't take that as a guarantee.
