GRcade Secret Santa 2021 - REVEAL PG14

I've been poked (ooh err!) so here's some general likes/interests which will hopefully help:

Books: sci-fi/fantasy/humour primary interests but I'm a fan of biographies and non fiction stuff as well, things about science, tech, human behaviour etc. Big fan of authors like Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Douglas Adams. Been getting back into murder mystery stuff lately as well
TV: big comedy fan primarily British - things like Blackadder, Red Dwarf, Partridge, Peep Show. Big fan of Community. Like Sci-Fi stuff as well: Star Trek and the like.
Movies: Love me some James Bond, I like lots of 80s classics: Indiana Jones, BttF, Ghostbusters etc. Love the current Marvel stuff
Sport: Aston Villa fan, enjoy watching tennis and cricket as well
Games: I've got a gaming PC, Switch and PS5. Big fan of Sonic, Mario, Final Fantasy (7 :wub:

), MGS
Other stuff: Love Lego and construction type toys in general, always appreciate "nerd tat" - the kind of stuff you get in shops like Forbidden Planet etc., not really a drinker but you can never go wrong with chocolate!

I've almost finished my shopping, just waiting on one more thing to arrive and then I can get mine posted.

Just waiting on one thing that I need to collect in a store and then I think I should be good to go. It was listed as in stock for collection when I placed the order but I've still not had a message saying I can go and get it so I'm starting to get a little twitchy! :lol:

Hoping to get it posted out earlier than usual - I normally find myself doing a last minute Special Delivery option!

Struggling a bit, ordered a couple of small things, but found something that looked good which unfortunately won't ship before Christmas. Might actually have to go to the high street for ideas.

Other things I like are Jurassic Park, The Mighty Ducks ( ), Ice Hockey, F1 racing, always wanted to do graphic design professionally but lack the experience, always wanted a tattoo, but don't know what of and I'm completely in love with Adam Savage and wish he was my dad

i like whiskey, motorbikes, doom (the game), philosophy, sweets (haribo etc.) but am partial to a praline or nutty chocolate. im a secondary school teacher, chelsea fan, and general religious studies nerd.

Something I've ordered for my victim a little while ago still hasn't arrived. I'm just hoping it's here before next week because I want to get everything sent off!

I've been poked, im not really sure what to say so I'll just list my hobbies and hopefully that'll give you a decent idea of what to go on.

Current Game Systems: Switch, Gaming PC, Quest 2
Music: Into mostly Pop Punk/Metal/Eurobeat and various Japanese bands as well.
Books: I don't really read books much, I enjoy reading Manga but I mostly read stuff in Japanese instead of English translated stuff.
Anime: Over the last few years I've fallen in love with Gundam, I've seen most of the series now but I loved every single one. I don't actually own anything Gundam outside of one Plamo which I haven't built yet (Char's Zaku II from Origin). I love all kinds of anime, favourite series overall being Gundam as mentioned, Initial D and also Steins;Gate. There's a lot of classic anime that I haven't seen yet as well - I've seen the big ones like Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champaloo, Eva and stuff, but haven't seen things like Akagi and Kaiji yet. Also love the Jojo series.
Board Games: Not really a big board gamer, only really play on the rare occurance all my friends get together so I don't own any at all. My step brother has been trying for a long time to get me into Cardfight Vanguard but I don't own any cards for that either. If I was to get into it I'd be interested in playing the Daikaizer set Dimension Police as they're all basically Gundams.
Figures I kind of fell off of, I own most of the ones I wanted to buy over the years and now I'm at the point I only buy ones I really desperately want to try and save on space.

Reminds me of when I gifted my n64 and Goldeneye to a mate, who then years later said he's never played Goldeneye as he never had a N64, thus accidentally revealing he immidiately sold it.
