I'm happy to lose to Plurbs' snowman, it's awesome. :D

But I'm not having Aaron's dirty giant be classed as being better than mine! :D

THIS!

The people want a poll!

I don't see why there should be a poll. I am not on the board of the Official National Snowman Review Committee. I do not answer to the People's Front for Snowman Construction.

LewisD wrote:I mean, Aaron's is nice and all, but it's covered in mud. I made sure mine was pristine white, clean as an Colorado river!
And it's leaning to one side, something that Alpha Ex was deducted a point for.

Infact, Alpha was deducted points for Dirty snow too!

The snowman is also tilting to the right, indicating its inner base is 15% hollow. Further deductions for evidence of grimey snow.

Y'know Mocky, I love you. But not right now. You've been paid off.
Don't even speak to me.

It is true there is some grime on Aaron's Snowman. And it is true that it slightly leans. On a different day, perhaps I would have picked up on these things. But I judged each Snowman in its own context and on its own merits, with each one a standalone case. In Aaron's case, the story his Snowman's creation told surpassed some technical aspects of others and was enough to grant him the win. It's a story Dickens himself might write, of a pauper fighting to the top despite having no hands.

In any case, Plurbs won.

Nevertheless, the public outcry is deafening. IN A MASSIVE TWIST I will throw it open to the masses in a new thread, with a democratic poll. I will still award Aaron and Plurbs a prize, and the person who wins the poll. That's 3 prizes plus a raft of Keeley Hazell posters. Wallet Am Cry.

The only reason mine is so small is that I had no gloves so I was building it with my bare hands. It was so cold.

People should also be marked down for caring too much about a meaningless Internet competition.

I'll never be able to show my face among the Snowman building fraternity again after this.

It must be all the cold air going to my head. Alvin should win just for making me laugh out loud and creating possibly the first ever retarded snowman. But then again Plurbs's entry does have a knife.
