We were talking about this last night - we were at the bristol show when covid was all properly kicking off, yet there was no social distancing, no masks, just hand washing :dread: :fp: How we didn't get it then I'll never know. We also shook their hands too after the show ffs  I think they did one more showing before lockdown kicked in too, that's how close it was. Poor bastards, I hope this does well for them.

When they were in Birmingham there was a strict "no touching" rule in place.

But that might have just been because Barry didn't want anyone fondling his backside after the film.

Despite pledging to Ian's Patreon, he posts so much I don't keep up with it, so this news was a great surprise! Hoping there'll be a cinema showing in Brum after I couldn't make it to the live one last year, but also very glad it's going VOD too. Hoping it's a direct path for download, rather than partnered through another service like Prime or whatever.

Had to miss the Birmingham show last minute for a hospital appointment. I'm still upset about it.

I went to the Birmingham showing as it was on my birthday. Got one of the signed drawings from them after, forgot to pay, and only noticed when I heard Ian saying "did he just strawberry floating walk off without paying" :simper:

I went back to pay and then used lockdown to recover from the shame

Loads of opportunities to see it. I’m delighted I’ll be seeing it at MAC again. If you can get to those new Everyman shows, it would help the guys out a lot to get good sales there.

I've done it, I've booked tickets to the Bristol Everyman for me and my wife (who surprisingly hasn't got into the podcast).

Just caning the Patreon podcasts of Dodds Incarcerated. Absolutely in tears hearing Barry's view of "queening" and "watersports".

Great venue for the show. Can't believe it's not sold out, what the strawberry float is wrong with people :|

Fwiw my wife knew nothing of the podcast when we went to see it and found it really funny.

I'd love to go but the idea of being in a room full of breathing strangers still terrifies me.

I forgot about the whole covid thing :fp: Yeah to be fair I wouldn't be too keen because of that.

My girlfriend also knew nothing of the podcasts (and still doesn't tbf) when we went to the Birmingham showing last year, but still enjoyed herself.

 I'd forgotten about the Tom Selleck thing. "You've not written down the guy's name, you've just written "looks like Tom Selleck"

Just over three weeks until the video-on-demand release of the movie, and there’s now a pre-order link for iTunes. It’s happening!

£7.99 (£2 cheaper for SD, but you don’t want that).
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/movie/the-p ... 1582519642

If you’ve already seen the film, it would help the guys to boost its visibility if you’d give it an iTunes rating and/or review. UK only for now, but they’re working on other regions. Shouldn’t be long.

Apparently iTunes is the only store with a pre-order function for indies, so the rest will go live on release (27th September): Amazon, Google Play, Sky Store and Rakuten.
