There's been more than a couple of times on series 2 when Barry has had something Ray can't actually immediately answer but he doesn't seem to realise this and lets himself get steamrolled over anyway

They do no such thing That's Dodds-esque levels of deduction, tbh. 'Devised' can just mean 'they conceived the show'.

I wouldn’t be shocked by finding out that Dodds was a character, but it’s pretty weak evidence to suggest that “devised and performed by” is any evidence of it.

I think the performed part is a legal thing. Like how people doing psychic readings are allowed to do it by saying it's just for fun.

Hampton Court Palace don’t advertise that they are haunted at all. Not at all.
