I presume it's as easy as anywhere else in the States. I went to an indoor range in Florida and just asked if it was something I could do. The clerk had no issues and it took about five minutes to go through the safety talk and how the pistol worked. Then I was left to it.

Only thing you might need is ID.

I’m not sure that you would be allowed. The gun ranges basically say anybody can shoot if they are legally allowed to buy a gun and I don’t think tourists are in California.

I have, we prebooked but when we turned up realised we didn't have to, as there wasnt a queue and there were still seats on sale. However, from what I understand this isn't always the case and it can get very busy depending on circumstance. Best to book to be safe if you're able to.

Wanting to get a way for a few city breaks in February and March but have no idea.

I'm off to Thailand with a mate in March for two weeks - we're flying into Bangkok and were thinking of staying near the coast line as it'll be fecking boiling no doubt. If anyone has any tips or must-sees it'd be appreciated.

I'm trying to find good prices for flights to and from the UK in June (CVG-MAN, June 15th in the mid-afternoon to July 1st), but it's proving excruciatingly hard to find anything that totals under $1,850 in total.

Every time I find a decent looking flight, the connection is either ridiculously expensive or impossible to get to in time.

Is that for 1 or 2 people? Just had a look on Skyscanner and found flights for ~£1060 in total, which I think is around $1400. Not loads better, but slightly.

Fly down to the islands and go to Koh Phangan for full moon/half moon party (depending on what’s on when you’re there). Koh Tao, next island over is one of the cheapest places in the world to learn to scuba dive if that interests you too.

Two people. I know I can get some good deals for cheap for one, but then you double it for second traveler (the wife), and suddenly you're all, "Well, there goes our savings account."

I'm doing the thing where you use incognito mode to keep the cookies down to a minimum, cheap one way jumps from one airport to the next and whatnot, but it's not hugely helpful. Looks like Reykjavik is a super cheap place to layover at, but the layover is 12 hours (our first car rental there would be... interesting) flight back would result in our getting in at almost midnight, and that's without the 75 minute drive home, with our needing to be in work at 8am Monday.

I know mid-week flights are cheaper, but those wouldn't give us as much time there, as we're trying to take advantage of weekends to extend our stay.

Thought about the full moon party but there's only the half version while we're there - is it actually worth the trip? I do love a party but can't drink like I used to, bit worried that it'll be quite a hassle to get there then just full of steaming wankered Brits.

I haven't done the half, but apparently it's in the jungle rather than on Haad Rin beach and I know people that have done both that prefer it. Worth looking into. Also, my experience was it's not really "wankered Brits abroad", yes you do get some of those types there but because it's a global event you get a whole range of people going. I had an amazing time at the one I went to. Great mushie shakes available too...

Oh god the airlines really do get you on the additional fees nowadays don't they.

Can't afford that route now... god damn fees.

Is a one hour layover in Dublin in the early morning too short, even if both flights in and out are Aer Lingus? Other option is a 4hr layover, which isn't too bad I suppose, though I'd prefer to get into Manchester as early as I can.

Thinking of going to Sydney this year whilst I'm in Hong Kong. I'm thinking 5 days in Sydney will be more than enough. But probably don't have time to fit in Melbourne also.

I have watched the Expedia Sydney youtube video and it doesn't actually look that good compared to places like LA, Vegas, New York etc...please tell me Sydney is worth going to?

Btw I have never been to Australia before.
