The GRcacde Twitchcast is a weekly discussion show streamed on Twitch (bet you didnt see that one coming!) and hosted by Pedz and The Doom Spoon along with a weekly guest from here on GRcade.


The show is a blend of the podcast format, with the more relaxed chatting style of a Twitch stream. We tend to cover two to three topics every week, these topics can be suggested by members of the forum. The beauty of the show is that it's live! This means you can tune in and actually take part in the discussions, viewers are free to input their opinions on topics of discussion or submit questions for us to answer!


The aim is to make the show as interactive as possible. This is why this thread has been set up, we will use this to regularly update everyone on the up coming shows, stream times, topics of discussion etc. If you're unable to tune in during the stream but want to make a topic request or ask a question please feel free to request it here!

Great work, guys! I like the idea of enabling viewers to join in and pose questions; that interactive element is attractive.

The discussion in the latest episode 3 about Lets Go was cool; the game does feel welcoming to new players and it was interesting to hear the thoughts about how elements of this could help define future games in the series.

It seems like you're off to a great start and I will look to join the audience for future shows.

Yea it was a much more stripped back game, and I loved it! Honestly for veteran players it's nice to sit back and play a Pokémon game without having to over think every battle to have, plus the shiny hunting is so much better!

Been having a great time doing this. It's just a fun casual chat about various things. It has been very enjoyable.

Yeah, the games we spoke about in that episode were interesting. The fact that I, the guy who constantly said 'Hey, this is babies first Pokemon' actually gave the game a chance and was definitely surprised by how enjoyable it was, is surprising in itself.

Can't wait to to do more. It's always fun and as more people watch the better it'll be to do it on a more interactive level. In Episode 2 we did actually get a question or two. I think if it gets more populated with viewers then an end section of 'ask us stuff' would be amazing. It's the reason that the streams chat is up on the video, if questions/points/interesting things are said in chat that we respond to or even if we don't it's there for people to see.

The ONLY thing I would love to do that I have no idea how to do is get subtitles set up. I am looking into it, but it'll mean those that are deaf/hard of hearing can also enjoy the video when on YouTube. Doing it live would literally require someone to type it out as it goes along and we aren't able to do that.

With news that SNES titles have been found in a future update for Switch Online, myself and Pedz will be looking back at the iconic system and discussing our (retro)spective on the console and which games from its libary we would like to see for Switch.

Hey guys. A few of us are talking topics about the Friday stream. We have a few ideas going.

Tonight, live on Twitchcast.

We will be talking about the newly released Resident Evil 2 Remake, I have never played a Resident Evil game before today (shame on me I know!) and will be giving my first, newbie impressions on thks game.

Also, we'll be taking a look at the what came out of the Nintendo indie highlight announcement. Discussing what we're most excited for and why.

Finally, the Twitchcast team are proud to reveal that we have some exclusive news! We'll be joined by Celer who will be announcing the official results of the GRcade GOTY 2018 vote! 24 hours before the announcement here on the forum.

Any more of these happening - I've just started listening through them (and really enjoying them by the way! ) and noticed there hasn't been one for a few weeks?

Yeah, 2 weeks ago only 2 of us was available and as we were seeking up the other person had internet issues

Last week I was ill and again only I and Doom were available.. until I was ill.

There'll definitely be another one very soon and it'll be live on Twitch before it goes on youtube/podcast feeds.
