We're beating the national average for earnings. Ironic, seeing as this has been voted on during normal working hours. Are you all on flexi fridays and high pay?

Put 12-17k. I work part time as I look after my son and a significant chunk of my salary goes straight into childcare vouchers. To be honest I don't really think about it as my wife's salary is the one that defines our living standard. I know I'm unusual in that respect!

I'm working on four projects but they're all currently blocked so I'm just training. Although I do get flexi time. I don't think it's that surprising that we're above average as we're mostly from the older white male demographic which tends to be better paid.

Just in the £18,000-23,999 band. Not bad for having a quarter of a century of education under my belt, eh?

I'm not throwing stones, I'm on the train home as we work short Fridays at my place.

From early in my career I took the approach of quickly climbing the ladder in London and then moving North when I was at a comfortable level where you can spend the cash and get decent returns on a house. It has worked quite well. I did borrow the life plan from a friend though.

With extras and overtime - I'm around 46K.

My basic salary is £17,926 or something along those lines, quite often do overtime if available (which varies throughout the year depending on illness/holiday cover) so probably fall into the next bracket up but I thought I’d just base it on the minimum figure I would get pre tax of course.

Currently between jobs, but my last one was about 22k, and the one I just had an interview for was about 20.5k.

Currently £35k, but I'm due a pay rise to £40k at the start of next year if I play my cards right :toot:

I tend to think a bit too much focus is put on wages when everyone's circumstances are so drastically different. It could be costing you thousands just to get to work every year, and another £15,000 could be gone just on renting.

I work part time (22.5 hours a week) and take home roughly 10.5k a year.
I'm not exactly rolling in it but I have humble needs and get by.

Maybe try something other than a Brucie impression at the staff appraisal meeting next time.
I suggest going as that woman who crosses her legs seductively in that film I also can't remember the name of :shifty: .

I’ve got a pretty good deal at the moment. I’m on 38k, but I have about an extra 10k from working overseas, shift work and stuff like that.

I don’t pay rent either but I live in a box room. I’m saving a lot and when I come home I’m planning on doing a big chunk of a house deposit.

Basic is about £32k and shift allowance and extras boost to £36k. Currently do nearly a week OT each month which will bump significantly.

With my annual bonus I’m on about £22k, working towards getting that up to at least £24k within the next year though.
