I wont be able to anounce to the group myself. I have a new job and a work training course from Friday to Sunday. Can you do it for me?

Since this is the Christmas choice, I'm going to go with the best Christmas Film of all time. At any other time of the year I would have picked a less mainstream film, but strawberry float it, this film is awesome My choice is....

DIE HARD

Nah, only joking. I don't think it's the best film ever, I picked it because it was interesting and might provoke some discussion. Was slightly disappointing when it got 7's across the board. :lol:

Even though its set at Christmas I wouldn't class it as a Christmas Film.

Might say that the film you have must have Santa in at least two scenes!

Man on Fire - Think the last time I watched this I had it down as a 6/10 but to be honest, it didn't really hold up this time around. By no means a bad film but I found myself getting a bit irritated by it; the long run time not helping. The editing, like chalkitdown said, was distracting and it seemed to be implemented during scenes that simply didn't require it. I didn't really feel much for the two main characters and I didn't buy into their relationship/friendship either. Also, I hated the ending the first time and I think I hated it more with this second watch. It does things well and I can see the attraction but it's just all a bit, well, stupid.

I saw it at a youth centre one christmas holiday as a double bill after Santa Clause the movie and genuinely thought it was the sequel :oops:
