It's snowing in At Albans. It seems to be settling which is wierd as it's above 0.

We have perfect snow right now. Just watching it out of the window and it's lovely and calming.

Snowed really heavily in West Kent for about an hour. I suppose the gritters haven't been out due to lockdown because for the first time I can remember the roads are paved white.

Been a few years since we had proper snow here in Wiltshire but today was a nice surprise.

We made a lovely snowman on our quiet street and then went for a walk around the local field:

But then, not even an hour later, returned home to find some banana split had smashed it in :(

My poor boys were gutted.

I wonder if all this home learning for schools will mean no more snow days for children in the future and they will be expected to do online learning instead.

This was 2 hours ago.

Since then people have walked all over everything and someone built a snowman ruining the lovely layers of snow we had. It's still snowing now, but less so.

Was snowing throughout the morning here at Halesowen. Probably an inch or so thick. Wish I could get over to the hillside, as that would be one heck of a perfect photo.

Maybe it's because I don't have kids but I hate when the picturesque scenery gets ruined by sleds and snowpeople.

Just carried my cat outside to look at the snow and she hid her face under the crook of my elbow

I've spent most of the day snowballing with my kid (don't worry, just me, him and the wife, there was nobody around us). I have completely screwed my elbow now as I was throwing so hard. Never seen my son so happy, all he wanted during this lockdown was one snow day and he finally got his wish!

He definitely tougher than I was at that age. I'd go out to play for 20 mins and would have cold hands and feet then want to go back inside. But he just kept going and going. He got me right in the face and knocked my glasses off! :slol:
