That's assuming he's telling the truth. Allow me to put on my attorney head for a moment.

The man under the microscope in this instance is the brain-child behind The Football Super Tipster Facebook page. He claims to have turned £10 into £10,000 on a few occasions last season. However, if you check the Facebook page he posts on, he only created the account in February 2014. He states he's had issues with his page, but if that's the case why is this particular one still open?
Not only that, but his first bet of any kind was only posted in August for the Palace/Arsenal game. And for a Football Tipster, his lack of tips on the World Cup is very odd, especially considering he's happy to say how well he did.

He never did post these "winning slips."
Which begs the question then, what's the deal with this page and these £10 to £10k bets?

There is no £10 to £10k bet.
However, the true nature of this Facebook page is revealed pretty quickly after looking at his earlier posts and every post he's made about this supposed challenge. As you'll be able to see, in the first dozen posts or so he made, four in a row were offering enhanced prices if you signed up to Betfair through the link he posted. As the latest £10 to £10k "challenge" started, he switched his links to Bet365. This in itself is not important but there's one key word within both the URL's both links take you to that is.
Affiliate.

Being an affiliate to a betting site allows you to sign up people through your own referall link and gives you a percentage of the net profit that the betting site makes from them. In Bet365's case it's 30% of all the money your sign-up's lose to the betting site going straight into your pocket. As you can imagine, this can be a nice little top-up to have, even at small stakes.
Except Mr Football Super Tipster isn't interested in small stakes. He wants to make some decent money and fast. But how? How do you get people who have signed up through your link to bet larger and larger amounts of money?
You lie and you make up a challenge about betting larger and larger amounts of money, all the while posting your referral link to make sure you're getting a nice slice of the profit when it inevitably fails.

I rest my case.
