GRcade's Favourite Christmas Films and TV Episodes - RESULTS OUT NOW

I was trying to think of what I wanted to watch over the festive period, and wanted some inspiration. Then I thought it would be interesting to see how divisive the forum opinion is on what they consider their staples of what to watch this time of year.

How It Works

A. Categories

You can vote in four categories:

Favourites

1) Favourite Christmas Films (Feature and Shorts)

2) Favourite Christmas TV Show Episode

Least Favourites

3) Least Favourite Christmas Films (Feature and Shorts)

4) Least Favourite Christmas TV Show Episode

B. Voting

You can vote for up to 10 Films and TV show Episodes, in each of the categories. So 40 choices. Or 20, if you think it'll be funny to make your lists match.

Your choices are to be numbered 1 - 10, in terms of preference. With number 1 being your highest scoring choice, and 10 the least.

You don't have to pick 10 in each category if you can't or don't want to.

C. Scoring

Choices are given a score of 10 - 1, ascending against their position. Top score being 10 points against a position 1, bottom score being 1 point against position 10.

D. Eligibility

The Film or Episode doesn't necessarily have to be set during Christmas, or be about Christmas. It just has to be something you associate very strongly with this time of year.

E. Results

I'm going to tally things up and close the voting on Sunday 13th of December 12:00, and will look to release the results that evening - life permitting.

My intention would be to show the winners in each, but also the most divisive.

I'll have to think about this. The Office Christmas Special will definitely be on it. That double parter is just magical.

I always watch the new year's episode too for the full experience 8-)

Yeah the Peep Show Christmas special is definitely going in my list, an absolute classic!

Home Alone will always be my favourite.

Elf and Muppets Christmas Carol not far behind.

How badly has Love Actually aged? On the surface, a sweet Christmas film about love but when you actually consider the relationships in the stories...most are either toxic or ridiculous or both.
