PostGRcade’s Favourite Christmas Movie - The Results
by Moggy » Mon Dec 24, 2018 8:20 am

Well here we are. After thousands of votes, it is time to announce the movie that GRcade has voted as the greatest festive treat OF ALL TIME.

Two of the movies were level for most of the voting, but one of them finally took the lead. Which means I didn’t have to cast the final vote and so none of this is my fault.

So without any further ado, the results are:

With zero votes and in joint last place:

White Chicks
The Snowman
Scrooged
Home Alone
Lord of the Rings (trilogy)

With one vote each and in joint third place:

The Holiday
It’s a Wonderful Life
Gremlins
Nightmare before Christmas
Elf
Mickey’s Christmas Carol
A Christmas Carol (1999)

With two votes and in outright second place:

DIE HARD

You were so close Hans, so so close

And our winner, with three votes:

The Muppet’s Christmas Carol

So there we have it, the people have spoken and we must never vote on this again.

Who nominated Home Alone and then didn't vote for it? :slol:

I can get on board with the winner. It's a brilliant film

I nominated Die Hard but forgot to vote.

I'm sorry for ruining Christmas.

White Chicks and The Lord of the Rings films are practically interchangeable. I like the bit where Sir Ian McKellen whites up and sexually harasses Terry Crews.

Just checked with Mocky and - ahem - "we are NOT building a strawberry-floatin' Muppet Christmas Carol logo!".

I'd thought that Die Hard runs through the veins of most GRcadians. Christmas truly lies in ruins.

I didn't vote either  .

The movie I wanted to win won and I forgot to vote for it. The system works.
