Freecell.

I've been playing it for almost twenty years now. I'm quite good at it. :toot:

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

Final Fantasy VII

While my mind always changes (Xenoblade & Final Fantasy XII being two that have replaced FFVII and back again) I always come back to my love of Final Fantasy VII. In the year 1997 I seen this following trailer and I immediately wanted this game in my life

This was my first proper JRPG and I remember instantly getting hooked on the story line. This game has so many great memories for me

- First fight against the Giant Scorpion (attack when its tail is up)
- The Love triangle between Cloud, Aerith and Tifa
- When you exit Midgar and enter the world map
- Sephiroth's Story
- First encounter with the Giant Snake
- Chocobo's
- Vincent and Yuffie (inc Yuffie Side Story)
- Demon Wall
- Aerith's death
- Bumping into Emerald Weapon
- Finish & Omnislash

Since it's release it remains the only game I have played to completion in double figures only closely followed by FF8.

PLAY | Persona 3 Reloaded [3h]
WATCH | Ted Lasso S3, HiJack S1, Red Dwarf S4, Dexter S2
RACE | Chew Valley 10k (June), GNR (Sept), Cardiff Half (Oct)

I've really got into my Freecell recently, absolute class game. There's one game with a solution in which all the cards end up being moved automatically into the finished cells at once which was pretty cool.

Haven't played much in awhile, currently only have a laptop and I can't really untrain myself to playing Doom with anything but a keyboard and mouse! Played through the Brutal Doom megawad a few months back though, it dragged a bit in the middle, but overall, awesome.

Ishar 2: Messengers of Doom (Amiga 500)

There was a time when this was all I wanted to play. I was very much into table top RPGs at the time and Ishar 2 was the perfect accompaniment. From the very start to the very end it just oozed atmosphere with great graphics, superb sound and music and compelling gameplay. I have returned to Ishar 2 since those days and was pleased to discover nostalgia hadn't blurred my memory of this fabulous game. Of course many RPGs have come along that technically surpass it, but few have remained with me quite like Ishar 2: Messengers of Doom.

Nice choice, Gemini - and it's always good to see an Amiga game pop up! - but I'm intrigued as to how your deleted GR ID has been used for posting; I didn't think that was possible :o .

You'd have to ask GG or one of the other admins. I was surprised that I was still able to use my original name, but happy that I could.

Deleting my account was a way for me to completely remove myself from this place while I sorted things out in the real world. I also deleted all my social media accounts across the board, but this is the only one that I have returned to. No longer being part of the social network, so to speak, is quite refreshing.

Hey, man, all good - I know that feeling of needing to take a wee break from social media discussions now and again! - I just wondered how your original form of the ID was used for that post rather than your newer one.

It's an old post, jawa - I bumped the thread by mistake. However, it appears that the forum infrastructure applied the time of the bump to Gem's most recent post in the thread - possibly because the post wasn't linked to a current user, so the timestamp of the post doesn't have a value to the board?
