Domino's pepperoni passion with sundried tomato base and stuffed crust. Or, more often, a Pizza Express sloppy giuseppe from the supermarket with additional cheese and maybe diced chorizo on top :datass:

Domino's for me, but only because the others on the list do not deliver to my place and the local independent isn't great.

Call 'em up and suggest they start delivering. If a chain competitor starts deliveries tell them about it. (Though your best off hoping Pizza Hut don't, they're awful.)

My "local" Domino's wouldn't deliver for ages. Years. Then they started taking the piss by sending menus to our area! So I started calling 'em up every so often, even emailed UK Domino's about it , and eventually they started delivering. But not before Pizza Hut. I think that's what got 'em to change their mind. Only decent thing Pizza Hut did, imho.
I've started a similar thing with a local chicken joint. strawberry floaters do amazing piri piri chicken but won't deliver. So no when I call in a order, I have a three minute conversation about it each time. :slol:

Domino's is just cardboard shite.

Far better to make your own or get one of those ASDA made on the day ones.

Best takeaway pizza I've had in England is Firezza. I think it's only in London, but they are really rather good. They use a wood oven so they get nice char and bubbles. Not quite as good as Italy, but they are better than the shite like Pizza Hut etc. They do half metre ones too which is nice for sharing.

Their hot chilli base is absolutely god tier. Not overly fussed on the rest of their stuff though - even if I did live off them at uni :slol:

There is a local pizza place that delivers and does 18" pizzas for £12 if you order by phone

This is understandably our current favourite

Up until last year I would have said a local place but it changed management and went to gooseberry fool, this means Dominos get my vote. Althoguht I have been getting Apache (an Irish only chain) lately and as a whole its not bad. I prefer their sides but their crust and dip isnt a patch on Dominos.

Once a month we do our own. Nice to have an actual spicy pizza as opposed to what chains think is hot.

As for Domino's being cardboard... the only one of their bases I would accuse that of is the gluten free/ultra thin/double decadence one. Like all gluten free breads, that gooseberry fool has no softness or give in it at all.

I like me an asda 2 for £4 deal. The delivery people cost a bloody fortune and the asda ones are really good.

As far as big chains go my favourite is Domino's by a wide margin. We don't have a Papa John's round my way so I can't say owt about them but every time I've ordered from Pizza Hut I have been thoroughly underwhelmed although I do like their pasta bake side dishes.

Domino's are too bloody expensive though so usually if want a pizza delivering there are a couple of local places I frequent of particular note is a place I have been going for years called Hot Line, they do the best chilli sauce round my way.

Of the chains I always go Papa Johns. I usually go for a large Tandori Spice at £7.99 collection. My local Dominos isn't anything special and never have any good deals on so you would have to spend about £15 for a pizza.

There is a local place that does 18" pizza for about £10 delivered, so i'll use them if im especially hungry.

While on the subject of local pizza places I need to give a shout out to Fona Pizza the purveyors of this beast, it's 32 inch by 32 inch.

How would you even deliver that?

I do love a good Dominos, but it's strawberry floating expensive. Much rather make my own. I do like their cheese crust dipped in BBQ sauce.

We had to put the back seat down in my mates car. They don't have a box big enough to put it in so it's cobbled together from other boxes and had cling film over the top. It took two people to carry it, one doing the bulk of the work and the other supporting the middle as it was starting to sag. Between 2 fat lads and 1 greedy but skinny lad we managed about a third of it. My 2 mates each took some home and after a second day of eating it there was still some left.

I like Texas or ranch bbq from dominoes with hot sauce. Only if there is a deal going though, no way I'm spending £20+ on a pizza and sides when I could have an Indian or Chinese.

I go for the Asda 2 for £4 thing, the pizza are really nice and for £4 its a bargain. Takeaway pizza is just ridiculously expensive.
