GRcade's Best TV Series Ever - VOTING OVER - LOCK IT UP

I found this quite tough but my final 5 are....

1. X-Files
2. Spaced
3. Family Guy
4. Red Dwarf
5. The Simpsons

It was really hard to narrow it down! Ones that just missed out for me are Life On Mars, Black Books, Garth Marenghis Darkplace, The Fast Show, I'm Alan Partridge to name just five!

I'll have probably changed my mind by next year

Far too many dips in quality for it to be considered one of the best TV series' ever.

How's Carnivale doing?

It currently has a single vote and is in the top 40.

Alright, 49 votes collected, 86 different TV shows mentioned, I don't think I'm going to get any more.

There's a good enough Top 25/30 going here that I might just go ahead with that. I'm still going to PM all 48 of you to allow your top fives to become top tens anyway though.

It'll go something like this:

You may change your first five choices, if say you decide your sixth choice is in fact better than your fifth choice but I would not expect drastically different changes to the first five series a second time through.

This is simply to see if opening it out into a top ten will flesh out the list into a similar Top 50 like last year's.
