I take it you disowned said brother?

We get along now we're adults but this was high school in the early 00's where we'd often have friends over for gaming nights so it really strawberry floated things up for months. I have no doubt that if he hadn't moved out shortly after this he would have sold my GameCube and PS2 at some point.

In my experience I much preferred the Master System to the Gameboy, although I will concede that the GB did have some wonderful games that I'm glad I experienced.

My 3DS, mainly because I lost it rather than binning it and it also had all my good original DS games in the case. I now have no 3DS and a DS with almost nothing to play on it :fp:

Oh, gosh, what a thread. I try to rarely think about it, but I still feel pain when I recall selling my Sega Mega Drive (Asian PAL model that played UK, US and Japanese) console with (ten mint Japanese version) games and my Sega Master System (model 1) console and (around 40 mint including Power Strike 1 and 2  ) games. I tend not to shed tears now but it's a close thing. I have subsequently built up decent MD and MS collections but those memories still sting.

Also dislke that I junked my collection of Zzap! 64 (issues 1 through 48), C&VG, Big K and Commodore User mags from the 80s. Ditto my Xbox World mags (Computec versions, pre-Future). You can see many of them through online scans but I love the feel of having them in your hands (hello no context thread etc).
