Ratchet and Clank Future : Tools of Destruction, Folklore, Little Big Planet, Motorstorm: Apocalypse and many others all worthy of a mention too and that's before even thinking about the HD Remasters of the Sly Trilogy, Jak and Daxter, Ico/SoTC and so on...

As I said before, great system with some really exceptional (and often overlooked) titles - I think Metal Gear Solid 4 in particular is one of those underrated ones, the cutscenes were excessive and the story was a bit mad but from a purely gameplay standpoint I had a blast with it and I had a lot more fun with it than I did with 5.

These games always reviewed well but never appealed to me. I guess the grey/brown FPS genre was pretty bloated last-gen.

Admittedly I haven't played it since around launch so I couldn't possibly say how it holds up but I really liked it when it came out, the plotline was nonsensical and it was far too cutscene heavy but I still found it a lot of fun to play through. Enjoyed it a lot more than the bland and repetitive MGS5!

But both MGS4 and MGS5 are amazing games
