Finally arrived today. Horray. I am no longer in the mood to play it. Good job with that 11 day delivery, guys.

Sorry, I thought I'd try and finish Skyward Sword so I could properly concentrate on this. I'm further from the end than I thought so I'll just juggle two.

Speaking of swords, I got a killer laser sword the other day. One hit kills FTW.

Yep.

I've put this on for a bit. I have no idea what's going on. Some girl seemed to be talking to herself in the cutscenes, then I had to kill some other AC. The guy came down off the roof, touched my AC once, then there was a big explosion, with BREAK DOWN written, before a different cutscene that made no sense and then it asked me to join a team.

I've joined GRmored Core, but I'm turning it off now. CBA trying to work out what the strawberry float tonight.

Don't even try to make sense it. Honestly. It's a botched translation of a piss-poor story. I was halfway through the game when I realised that I wasn't playing as one of the female voices you hear in the cutscenes. :fp:

Just concentrate on being a big stompy robot and blowing things up.

Yup. I realised pretty early on that the story wasn't going to make any sense at all. Big stompy robot is the way to go.

There's a story?

Mainly been doing orders, rather a lot of money in them, especially the solo fights

I like glide bashing other mechs

Does anybody know how much 300 euro would cost somebody in Pakistan?

Maybe Mary can help?

No time on this for the next few days. I'm missing my mech fix. The 360 is just a Skylanders/Happy Action Theatre/Netflix machine at the moment.

Cool. Going to try and get on a bit this week - still got a load of the hidden ACs to fight, and hopefully our team points have gone up quite a bit for invasion purposes.

I was playing it a lot on Saturday, I think we're about half way to level 79.

I went through a bunch of order missions and the 3rd story mission (which flew buy compared to the second one, trying to hunt down that train!) but switched off after getting trounced by some random in a PvP match.

I also spent some time mucking about with the decals, I'm sure a much better one could be done but I made a wee 'WE R GR' badge for us to wear :)

Proud to be on board now.

I have no idea what was going on in the first story mission so I'm just doing Play Order missions to get some cash for parts.

Don't worry, that continues. As mentioned previously, just enjoy the HULK SMASH side of things [/topical].

I was reading a review of this earlier and there was mention of the Euro servers being pretty barren already compared to the US and Japan ones, yet no merger is planned. Sure, we'd get destroyed within seconds but, wouldn't it be a bit more fun ACTUALLY HAVING PEOPLE PLAYING THE GAME?

Review link

It was nice of them to give us our own servers, mind.

Picked this up for cheap - I imagine nobody else is playing this, holy hell it's complicated, and not very user-friendly, but I can see why people like it so much, shame it's quite fugly compared to the amazing CG intro.
